That same partner apparently screened Brodin's vision so that he could only realize Hall was coming after it was too late.

Only thing Brodin could have done and hopefully will do in the future, is prepare himself for the hit. I mean at least take the knowledge from it that, yes, people WILL hit you.
You completely neglect the fact that Hall took 5-6 strides to hit Brodin. Blatant charge. Not questionable.

Its hard to see in this screen cap. But the space between his arm and his body. Yea, that would be leading with the elbow. That was moment of impact.

I don't completely neglect anything. Charging it is. He took the strides and he's a fast ****er, but he also took the slide a few feet before the impact. He might have gotten away with a minor for charging had it not resulted in an injury. Maybe not as the on ice call was a hit to the head. We'll never know.

To me it does not look like elbowing, but it's hard to see. They have ruled it as shoulder to shoulder and I guess that's what it was then.

I'd say the charging would have been let off before the elbow or shoulder to the head. He went up with his hit, rather than straight into. Only positive thing was that he didn't leave his feet.

I think this weekend was that "be sure that he's ok". Like we all know, MG is that kind of guy who never says no, and will play even he is not ok. Last season he get mycoplasma becous he start to play too early. Hope there is now people who really know what to do and make sure that he is not coming back too early. Pretty sure that he will play next weekend..

I trust that Aeros / Wild organization can handle these kind of situtations much better. At the moment there's just no external pressure to play any earlier than it's good for him.

It was quite different in Finland.

Well, did he really get a mycoplasma last season? You should be sure if you shout out something like that.

It would kinda explain him being out for so long last year.

Quit being so obnoxious. We were discussing it last season when he was out for quite a long time, speculating it might be mononucleosis or mycoplasma rather than concussion symptoms.

Granlund might play tomorrow or Friday vs. OKC but it will be his decision.

If it really is just up to him, I'd be surprised if he didn't play as soon as possible.

Just hope he doesn't rush back too quickly still because he has an entire season to play down with Houston.
