Just got back from Kiekko-Vantaa - TuTo game. Never attended Mestis (2nd tier ice-hockey in Finland) before even though Kiekko-Vantaa's arena is 5 kilometers from my house. Winchester and Columbus' Jared Boll played and looked mortal. Jesse's team lost to my hometown team.
NOV 21, 2012: TUTO @ K-VANTAA 2 - 3
G 0, A 0, P 0, +/- +0, S 6, PIM 0, TOI 24:48
In four games, Jesse's stats:
G 2, A 2, P 4, +/- +3, S 17, PIM 4, average TOI 21:50
WOW. Impressive game from both Senators. Look at that pass by Karlsson at 1:08 which resulted into a goal but he didn't receive point cause his teammate couldn't handle it and the other team touched it.
Turris' goal was just ****ing disgusting. Something you can see is that he is generating the scoring in his line and his teammates are relying on him. He drives the net and sets it up in the first goal, snipes the second then gets a puck through for the third.

There was one great incident with Karlsson in that game that unfortunately didn't make it to the highlight reels (it should've). Kärpät forward got a breakaway and the forward wasn't slow but still Karlsson catched him and just before the forward could make his move alone with the goalie, Karlsson slapped the puck aside and prevented the goal attempt and did it without taking a penalty. Fast kid I must say.

His skating is dynamic and once he improves his pivots a tad more he will easily be the best skater in the league, imo. He's already the fastest, imho.

The one I read said there were 10 NHLers, but only 7 Sens. Who are the other three players?
I wonder why so many Sens went compared to other teams
Quote:
From there, the hockey stars — Methot and fellow Senators Craig Anderson, Chris Phillips (accompanied by his outgoing nine-year-old son, Ben), Chris Neil, Zack Smith, Guillaume Latendresse and Peter Regin, along with Ottawa native Grant Clitsome of the Winnipeg Jets, Jordin Tootoo and Dartmouth College grad Jody O’Neil
Counted 7 Sens, 1 Jet, 1 Red Wing, and 2 extras.

Karlsson lets Islanders' Frans Nielsen go past him @ 0:08, Erik's assist @ 0:37 and he makes a splendid pass to Ruutu who passes to Teemu Pulkkinen who doesn't score @ 0:31.

Reason: typo
Mike Lundin signing in Sweden, with Almtuna of the SEL-2.
They're in the fourth largest city in the country but nobody wants to see that team anyway. Will be nice to see him play for a bit though, hopefully he doesn't get injured again.
Turris's first assist @ 0:25 and second @ 3:42. Carolina's Jussi Jokinen also got the assist for Haataja's goal. Haataja is one of the best players in the League and at the moment better than any NHL lockout player playing in Finland.
Turris also got a bit injured @ 3:06. Kalpa player got 5+20 from the hook on the face four minutes before the end of regulation. Kyle was able to continue the game though and assisted the GWG in OT.
