Give me your wish list of impact players that can be had, for Brouwer's 2.35M.

Maybe you can help me, because I can't tell what future contracts players will sign.

Brouwer's cap hit for last season and the next season played (whenever that may be) is 2.35M.

3.66M begins in the season following this one. So, I ask for you help.

Like I said, 4th line players can do what Brouwer did when it matters (playoffs). So I can compile a whole list of 4th liners if that's what you want?

Not hard to find players with 14pts in 57 playoff games, let alone players that make less than 2.35mil for that production.

I'd love to see that list along with an explanation of why said players were not picked up by the beloved Indian.

I don't have time to go through every single player (working), but depth players are found throughout the league on a regular basis for cheap. 14pts in 57 playoff games isn't very hard to replicate.

Nice goal Beach. Got stopped on his 1st mini-break away but then got that second one. Great chip pass by Pirri.

Here is another link if one goes down..

Saad gets winner. Nice goal too but the team continues to take bad penalties
(although several were on the chinzy side). Richards had to bail them out a few times and had a pretty solid outing in net.

Nice to hear the boys are winning more. Can't believe I heard someone say Richards bailed them out.

Brandon Saad with the nice goal to make it 3-2 Hogs. Somewhat bad angle shot but he made a good one and beat the goalie.

Shaw makes the empty net goal and the Hogs win 4-2.

Clendening with 2 assists and now has 10 points in 14 games. Only Brandon Pirri and Martin St. Pierre have a better PPG. Yes he needs a lot of work defensively but many games he really shines offensively. Really is amazing that he has a higher PPG than Kruger, Morin, Hayes, ect...or maybe that is more sad than amazing.

Brandon Saad continues his hot streak with another goal. In November he has 4 goals and 1 assist in 7 games.

Beach had another nice goal as well. He really is dangerous offensively and has a good goal scoring touch.

Once again too many penalties. Possibly the worst disciplined team in the entire AHL...lost the PP battle 7-2.

Olsen continues to not impress me. No offensive upside and slow reactions to go with slow foot speed.

Pirri has been consistently posting impressive offensive numbers his whole career. Hes the equivalent of a senior in college had he stayed at RPI.

Im not impressed with Olsen and agree with your comments. The Hawks still need a high end RD prospect. Johns and Paliotta are unsigned and are stay at home dmen.

Disappointed to hear that about Olsen. I haven't seen any of Rockford's games since the first weekend of the season here against the Wolves, but I was pretty high on Olsen after what I saw of him when he was up with the Hawks last season.

The defense all around is not good, which certainly doesn't help a young dman who needs some guidance on how to play pro hockey. I haven't given up on him. Clendening hasn't been too bad, and it will be interesting to see how he progresses.

Yeah flat out giving up on Olsen entirely would be completely foolish. Lack of improvement at all is a little concerning but he's still a very young defenseman. He's got time.
