Vernace weak on the puck too, Klassen hanging in there. I like Sean Collins' hustle tonight, playing hard. Pyett went unnoticed in the first.

Hrivik has really been struggling so far, pretty bad. J.T. Miller flying out there, Jean getting involved, so is Tessier (the healthy scratches maybe motivated him).
Why isn't Andrew Yogan playing? Motivation?? Injured?? He seems to be struggling so far. Maybe he needs to get sent down to ECHL??

Tommy Grant is more involved stats wise this year. At least knocking in some goals. Haley with another fight.

Blew another lead against Bridgeport, unless they can correct it.

Klassen, Haley and Thomas the only CT players who didn't record at least 1 point tonight...

I was at the game tonight. Both of Kreider's goals were nice. The first came 1:30 into the game when he blew right past the Soundtigers' D and his quick release beat Nilsson glove side. His second goal was from the slot and also cleanly beat Nilsson, who had lost his stick on the play.
Gilroy's first goal was a hard slapper and his second came on a nice passing play from Jean and Hrivik.
The Whale tied the game on a lucky bounce when Nilsson went to go play the puck behind the net, the puck took a weird bounce right to Kolarik who just tapped it in.
The D was pretty sloppy, although I thought Collins was decent at times.
Talbot didn't have his best game and most of the goals he allowed came when there was a lot of traffic/a scramble in front of the net.
JT Miller looked decent and certainly got a lot of minutes, which is good for him.
Haley took a beating tonight. He lost a fight and later took a puck to the face and I don't believe he returned after.

Just got back from the game as well. Man Parlett is pretty terrible. Regressed so much after that first good season.

You wouldn't know it from box score but Talbot kept team in the game. Like Klassen, Gilroy, Collins and Pyett on the D but something about them is not complete. Nice to see Kreider snipe two goals. A HUGE win!

Nice to see Kreider scoring lately. Three goals in his last two games, correct?

I don't think Jim has this one covered. Does anyone have highlights? If you do that'd be great. I missed both of the CK goals.

It's on the AHL website. Really good highlights from last night w/ replays.

Talbot has to be super human every game with that joke of a defense in front of him. The giveaways, bonehead breakout passes and mickey mouse coverage would have any beer league coach throw the gatorade bucket at his players... This though is the AHL! I hope some guys have a plan B for next year, back to uni, a job or playing in europe... Jebus!

Talbot has been the best player as always. Too bad the Jean Segal and kreider line isn't buzzing.Love to see Jean rack up some more attention.

Ok so Whale win 5-2, Kolarik had a hat trick, and Parlett and Miller were ejected with 49 seconds left in the game after Parlett boarded Hampus Lindholm.

Sounds like a successful game
