Sadly is good teams find ways to win both games.

Yes because of depth in their squad. Unfortunately, our "depth" is either injured or unexistant. Players like Diaby, Rosicky & Theo all could of have started today if not injured. Then you obviously need to buy depth players, and that is something relatively complicated to do. You have to find the right players.

Also missing a real sub/impact (depending on Wengers budget) striker(As Podolski is playing on the Wing). So Wenger will need to bring someone to back up Giroud, or a real class striker to start over Olivier and have Giroud rotate/be his backup.

But I am willing to accept this draw if we get a Win against Everton mid week with a fresh legged lineup (Most of them that were rested today). I reckon Gibbs, Jenkinson, Ramsey, Ox should all be replaced by Sagna, Verm, JW10 and Theo against Everton.

As for Ramsey, I never said I loved him. I absolutely hate him. But you can't have Wilshere play the rest of the season, he just came off a 18 month injury. Who else do you want to put? You can't put our injured players. Our only others midfield options when JW10 is resting are Thomas Eisfeild and Andrei Arshavin. But if you play Arshavin, you would have to slide Cazorla on to the wings (or the bench), as both players are Attacking Midfielders.

Don't forget we have a mid week game against Everton who are right above us in the table. Would you rather get a scrappy draw away @ Villa with our "subs", or get the Win against Aston Villa with all of our starters? Cause if you chose the later option, that means AW would have to put the "average players" that we have in our squad against Everton.

If you ask me, I'd rather get the draw at Villa with an Average team and feild the best possible squad against Everton mid week to get the Win, rather than beating Villa with a great lineup and dropping points against Everton with an average squad

Its not the end of the world. Yes its 2 crucial points points dropped, but give credit to Aston Villa. That is what I'm trying to say, its not all The Arsenal's fault. You have to manage your players.
nothing is wrong with Ox....but you can't have a 19 year old starting. also, everything you said proved my point...please see my post again.
"LACK OF QUALITY IN DEPTH"

it's fact...this is not a squad deep enough to challenge for the tiltle, or th CL...and lack of vision has stopped us from challenging for ANY trophy.
our trophy is to finish top 4...and that is it...be proud gooner. be proud...that is a victory that we strive 4..." as long as we finish 4th"

You can have a 19 year old starting. Maybe he's not good enough, alright, but his age has absolutely nothing to do with it.

I don't think Arsenal can make the CL without a major addition at striker. When it comes down to it, I don't think they can rely on either Podolski or Giroud for goals and eventually to some degree teams will figure out how to play Cazorla.

I agree with the depth part then, I stated it in the post above yours [I suppose you didn't read it as you were replying to my first post].

But yes I agree with you, we lack depth. That is why as I stated above, if we beat Everton this week, I will accept the draw. Yes I would of have prefered to beat Aston Villa, but considering our squad effectives, i would rather beat Everton and draw Aston Villa, rather than vice versa. Obviously winning both would be ideal, but if you look at our squad, it would be a hard task to accomplish, as you stated, because of the lack of depth

No doubt about it, that has always been our major downfall.

Actually I'd say he was trying to salvage the draw. Stoppage time excluded, Villa were much the better team in the second half if you ask me. For a 0-0, that was a very entertaining game of footy.

Given their newfound style of using wingers who cross the ball instead of attempting to dribble the defenders out of the boots, a target man to get on the end of those crosses would probably work wonders.....

Since "L'Arse" has now become "die Arsenal", perhaps Wenger will chase this guy to partner his NT teammate:

Everton falling back down to earth a bit, haven't looked good since the Liverpool derby. Without Fellaini they aren't the same team and Jelavic has struggled compared to last season

There were rumors Martin O'Neill handed his resignation but they seem to be false

Unfortunately Fellaini was just suspended 1 game for 5 yellow cards. With the form he's in he's going to tear Arsenal apart.

Arsene can't let Theo go. Every time he is injured or on the bench the team creates nothing. When he doesn't play they score 0 or 1 goals. He's played less than 5 full games worth of minutes and has 3 goals and 4 assists. Who knows how many points Arsene has cost the team keeping him on the bench all year.

Hopefully that card suspension screws his form up

It isn't a money problem with Theo. He wants to play Center Forward. Unfortunately, Arsenal play a 4-3-3- and Theo doesn't have the physical presence to play in that position IMO.
