WBS best scorer (Bennett) are on a measly 61th place in the league in points. Is that what happens when we only draft defensemen?
Yeah why isn't he up there with Eberle, RNH, Schenn, & Niederreiter? Maybe because he is a late 1st round pick who is 20 years playing against grown men in a stacked AHL made up of a large portion of NHL caliber players?

I didnt know there were 60 eberles/RNH/Schenns in the AHL..... Would be nice to have some more firepower up front, thats all.

It was more a statement on the Pens' inability to score in general, and their draft preferences. Not a criticism of Bennett.
Early in the game the Marlies announcer quoted coach Hynes raving about Bennett's hockey sense, how he's always a step ahead of the play. Has a good game tonight. Tangradi and Bort are doing pretty well, too, but the best players on the ice by far are Zatkoff and Scrivens. Baby Pens keep getting picked off in transition by the Marlie's quick forecheck, it's not a beautiful game.
Also, this Canadian announcer is so polite. "He makes Dumoulin look like a poster, in a negative way."
Heh. I think Farnham just shoved a Marlies player into the visitor's bench during a scrum after a late shot at Bennett. Followed by some nice trashtalk. Man I'd hate Farnham so much if he was on the other team.
Every time a Marlie went down it was a blatantly missed penalty, didn't you know?
People complain about Grace, myself included, but I guess WBS is just keeping up with the Joneses. Minor league announcers are ridiculous, it must be a rule or something.

I was pretty impressed by Dumoulin. He was the only Penguin defenseman that didn't make any obvious goofs.
I've been really impressed with him all season. He looks pretty much exactly the way he did in college, just against stronger competition. I know he's coming from a similar system, but I didn't think he'd move into the pro game so smoothly.
