I'm so pumped for this on so many levels.. Rooting for Hartnell, seeing Marty v. Queeny, and the prospect of doing shots with an NHL player at Dusk are all so amazing.. This is now bigger than a regular NHL game and I love that Philly and NJD are united
FYI - Dusk is permitting game attendees to wear sneaker and jeans but no hats
just got home from the game. It was a lot of fun. Lot's of various NHL jerseys in the crowd. The chants "we want hockey!" were unanimous.
Lundquist was a beast...in an exhibition game.
The venue was sold out and the vendors were not prepared for that- they were sold out of beer by the second intermission.
The sadest part is that might have been Alfredson's and may be Kimo's last game. Hopefully not.
Seriously it was a great night, it was great to see Devils Flyers and Ranger fans all together in peace loving hockey. I also saw a ton of Jerseys from the Canucks to Sharks to BLUE JACKET jerseys, thats right a Blue Jacket jersey, and the game started off perfectly with a 'We love hocket chant'. It was great stuff.
...and Lundqvist was an absolute monster in the first period that was unreal.
Just got back - great time tonight with hockey fans from all around. Good vibe the whole night - you could feel the fans yearning for hockey. Slightly disappointed there was zero player interaction like bench interviews and what have you. James Neal had 4 goals - guy looked like he was playing a real game at times. Team Richards overall seemed to play a lot harder than Hartnell's squad.
Just got back, dusk was ok I saw JvR Simmonds and hartnell going to a VIP room that was sweet met kimmo and Aaron asham both are really short and JvR is huge. The game was cool I wished brodeur was.any where close to lundqvist's compete level, he played out of his mind. I thought gaborik was playing he wasn't there. Stamkos choked.....like 15 times. Gagne looked awesome. Justin williams looked hungover. And JvR impressed on the ice too

People in the stands were annoyed at Lundqvist for actually playing. It was a charity game where some sponsors were paying per goal. When Lundqvist was in my end someone ripped him with: "My house is full of water Lundqvist!!! What the ****?!!" after a save.
Marty got a ton of boos. Subban got some. I had a guy from Montreal behind me (came from Montreal). Bobby Ryan got a lot of love. Leino got nothing when he came out. Asham got boos (he welcomed it coming out). Lundqvist got some boos.
There was a fun moment where Lundqvist lost his stick and the players started shooting it down the ice. Until a ref returned it.
