CHECKERS:
TBD
Roster

Who to watch?BARONS TO WATCH: Teemu Hartikainen and Magnus Paajarvi have been playing pretty well together but the points haven't been coming relative to their play. It's just a matter of time before these two have a big offensive game to take some pressure off of the NHL line. Yann Danis will likely be between the pipes again after a terrific performance on Saturday with 31 saves on 33 shots against the Checkers high powered offense.

CHECKERS TO WATCH: Justin Faulk, Bobby Sanguinetti, Zac Dalpe, Zach Boychuk, and Drayson Bowman were all standouts in Saturday nights game. The Checkers might come back with goalie Dan Ellis for Sunday's contest as he has been nothing short of phenomenal for the Checkers with a 0.948 save % in 9 games.

Barons Number of the DayThe number of the day is 4 as in the Barons are 4 points below Charlotte in the South Division standings.

Quotable"We're going to need everybody to tug on the rope because Charlotte's playing good hockey. They're a good hockey team and we can't afford to have any kind of lapses. We need to play 60 minutes (both nights) and play it well. We're getting better and better every game in certain areas and hopefully in a few months we can put the package all together and be a 'well oiled machine' -- no pun intended."-Coach Todd Nelson on what he thinks it'll take to beat the top team in the west the Charlotte Checkers.

Man i wish more of these games came on tv, i know theres usually a stream but i hate the poor quality and its obviously just a much better production on tv
If sportsnet brought a lot more okc games i wouldn't care about the lockout as much

Anyway its nice to see the boys playing well and schultz continueing to dominant with 25 points in 17 games

I don't mind this second line. Funny how our top 6 could consist of players who could end put starting the next Oilers game if the season is called off entirely.

Not sure what you are looking for but that would be top point production for about half the AHL right now

Yeah, but Schultz has 25 points and he's just a rookie defenseman. These guys should have at least 30 points each...

There needs to be more, but in 17 games so far Hartikainen, Acrobello, Paajarvi are all in double digits. Marincin has 9 points, Fedun has been pitching in lately too.

I would like to see some scoring from Vande Velde, Hamilton, Pitlick and Byers (though obviously Pitlick is injured right now and Byers is getting a lot of 4th line duty/PK, when he is normally a top 6 AHL guy).

Then you have Anton Lander who has been playing on the 2nd line for a while now and has zero points on the season. Not good enough at all Anton. Guys that are being groomed to be 3rd line C's, need to be showing a decent level offense at the minor league level. Maybe he will only be a 4th line center in the bigs? Still early, but he has to pick it up big time.

Take that logic some where's else. We're busy complaining about a team that's won 5 in a row here!

i thought hall wasn't playing back to back games? i think he did in the past already as well, but this is the first time that i've noticed it... obviously he is playing back to back already, when did that happen? it's good though i guess, must mean that he is feeling pretty healthy

His first back-to-back stint was against Abbotsford on November 9 and 10.

There was a quote back around the back-to-back Abbotsford games that OKC management got the green light to play Hall in successive games upon their own discretion.

Nope coach needs to humble the kid a bit and make him earn his ice time. If anyone should get PP it should be Plante as he is a AHL vet and all-star.

I've been checking all the usual suspects for a stream link but there's nothing listed so far.

Maybe something will pop up during/closer to the game.

i think its just wonderful seeing our team actually win.

So guys, heres the perfect sunday for oiler fans.

1. The barons win 10-2 with 4 points for shultz hall eberle and nugent
2. Lander gets 1 point
3. The stream quality is great for some odd reason today
4. The stamps get their ass handed to them and lose the grey cup in big fashion
5. the lockout miraculously ends tonight at 11:11, cus dreams can come true

totally agree with you there, Schultz may be great..but we dont know yet...points are overrated..
Plante has a crazy hard shot, I bet its near 100mph. why u would put a guy who weighs less than 200lbs on the point on the PP is beyond me..
Theres a reason that T.Nelson is an AHL coach. not KHL or NHL..

Those guys are also not getting the power play time that they would normally have either.

Not looking good for streams.

I checked every nook and cranny I know of and the closest thing I could find was a radio feed for the Worchester Sharks game.
