Nash looks like he hasn't improved much from his NCAA days. Marincin has a ton of potential, we did very well with that trade IMO.

Rajala quietly had a good period in the shadow of the first line. Good positional defense and one assist going with that. But I must say that his linemate (number 34) doesn't seem like an elite goal scorer.

EDIT: So it's 1g+1a for Rajala in three games played. Better than expected for the TOI he has had.

Can't wait to see how these guys do when they're all together in the NHL. You just know they're building a lot of chemistry in the "A".

Yeah and I believe we also got Curtis Hamilton in that trade (well his pick I mean), if memory serves?

Can't wait till LT does a NHLE for Schultz based on his AHL production...

hall is already 34th in league scoring, despite having played 5-9 less games than everybody ahead of him... in another 5-7 games, we could have all 4 of them in the top-10 in scoring.... pretty impressive considering that he doesn't quite look up to speed yet... i'm not saying that he should look 100% either btw, i don't expect him to be firing on all cylinders until march or so

Denis Grebeshkov for that pick. Not a bad deal.

I think we drafted Hamilton using Nashville's second round pick, in which we gave up Grebeshkov.

I hope he can get another 2 points tonight, along with RNH on the board

No that pick came in the Grebeshkov trade.

No it was only Marincin IIRC.

Yep

He's a fantastic player isn't he? Not even 100% and he's out there making things happen. Makes everyone around him better too, and he's going to be spetacular in his prime if he can crank out a healthy streak.

These guys are going to light up in the 1st 1/4 of the shortened season if there is one or next year. It took these kids about 15-20 games to warm up and the pros that haven't been playing together/haven't been playing at all are going to have that much of an adjustment period coming back to the NHL. Meanwhile, these kids can hit the ground running and have a bit of a headstart on the competition. Especially if there is a really short training camp and abbreviated season this year I'm really looking forward to seeing what they can do.

Hall, Eberle and RNH have been impressive, but we all knew they were going to perform.

Schultz's performance so far has been absolutely ridiculous. Seriously, he's a rookie in the pro game and he's leading the league in points, and it's been more goals and primary assists than anything else.

This is astounding - I don't think a lot of fans quite grasp what is going on here with Schultz. This guy is playing like Paul Coffey on offense so far.

So he wins Player of the month at 12 points for October, then has 17 points so far in November --- at Defence! Any chance he will be passed over this month? I mean, who else is this hot around the league?

Schultz with a sick pass then Ebs returns the favour with a sick pass himself. Loving how Marincin roves in the o zone. Keeps the game interesting... For us.

3rd period is a snoozefest.
