Monsters @ Bulldogs

Bulldogs give up 1st goal yet again. 14th straight game I believe.

Leblanc out, Wills was saying they would ease him into the lineup and sitting him today was part of the process. Not sure I buy it...

They've done the same with Desjardins. It sounds like some new policy for players coming from injury. Maybe they're trying to fix something that hurt the habs last season?

Commodore is also not in.

À bit of a softie there by CD after a weird bounce in the corner
Avtsin Quailer and Gallagher looking good so far on offense

The Dogs are atrocious on the PP, not a single chance or threat in 2 pp so far

Is this an actual line, and if so, who's playing center ?

Not CD's day. Yet, nobody can ever generate something offensively. Time for some vet help up front as it should have been since day 1 and even before day 1.

Agreed, perhaps they thought Palushaj and Geoffrion would be enough but clearly that hasn't been the case.

Hagel - Berger - Stortini is a complete abomination of a line.

Stortini is the complete opposite of what you could look in a vet. The guy is clearly not intereted in playing the role he's only good with. Which means that the vet you have in a AHL team is either an incredible offensive threat or a role guy that will indeed play his role. Stortini waste a spot like there's no tomorrow. I am not a Hagel fan as well. Not even a Boyce one, not for what he was suppose to give.

Just call up Schultz and throw out Stortini already. Schultz has NHL 4th line potential, and I don't believe one bit that he is still out of shape at this stage of the season.

Good Lord Langevin, ****.

"Vous allez rester surpris par celui qui est le plus léger de l'équipe, c'est Patrick Holland"

Oh really? If I had to guess, it would of been him.

One of the strangest PP I've seen. People on the ice just didn't know how to react to Beaulieu's incursion or Holland sticking at the point was planned?

They are apparently trying to learn Leblanc how to skate.. Trained for about 2 hours today on his strides..

I must say I'm impressed with Beaulieu's play today. He didn't do amazing plays, but some of them were very well executed and well thought. Very agile hockey player.

As long as Beaulieu and Corbin aren't the shooters with a setup-man, Bulldogs power play is going nowhere. All great pp units have a 1-time shooter.

They may have gotten 40+ shots, but at least 20+ a beer league goalie could save.

Need quality shots to go along with quantity.
