So he wins Player of the month at 12 points for October, then has 17 points so far in November --- at Defence! Any chance he will be passed over this month? I mean, who else is this hot around the league?
Eberle has 20 points so far in November but really he is playing with a unsustainable shooting percentage so no point even considering him.
Other than that Schultz has outscored other players considered to be having a good month (Kadri, Schenn, Niederreiter) by about 5 points.
Seriously, I keep waiting for Schultz to hit a slump because this pace he is on is just unreal. But he just keeps getting the points... its *** unbelievable!
Also really happy to see Marincin playing as well as he has.
Eberle doesn't have a tonne of shots (47) but that's still second on the team. It's nutty that Schultz is leading the team in that category as well (53).
Marincin playing well, but all jokes aside he is a product of playing with Ebs, Hall and more importantly Schultz. Im happy to see hes keeping up and playing good defensively. But 11 points in 16(?) games is really good for him. I suspect when the NHL resumes and those players leave, his point totals will go down to around .45 ppg. Which is still very good for a rookie ahl d man

The more i think about it the more I think we about to see a new age in the NHL. The age of the offensive defensemen. Karlsson Petriangelo PK Shultz Doughty. OFD are becoming way more common in the new NHL.
Glad to see Magnus get a point but he really needs to start finding some goals. This isn't isolated to this season either.
Not really. It's getting to the point where we should be happy to see him playing an overall good game regardless of offensive production and that's what he's doing, scoring goals is irrelevant as long as he's playing well in other aspects.
NHL game is much more structured and the forwards are a lot more opportunistic/quick strike, Marincin probably won't be able to do what he's doing in the NHL, coaches will inevitably force him to make his game more conservative. Great package and if he can continue to work on his angles/timing/positioning he is gonna be a player, his tape-to-tape passing with his head up is something you can't teach. Great feel for the game.
