Cole is going to PSG. It is no secret at this point, Ancelotti loved him at Chelsea and PSG is pretty weak at left back and I am sure PSG will be able to satisfy his financial demands.

PSG's Twitter. They deleted it right after (This was 2-3 days ago)

Hmm it might be a bad PR mistake or an intended leak to generate talk.

I hope Saputo tries signing a few players from South America. They are cheaper and younger. They wouldn't be the ones selling the stadium though.

L'Impact courtiserait comme entrâineur l'assistant manager de Napoli, Enzo Concina.

Patrick Leduc actually tweeted this not so long ago.. When the team was in Italy. He said "Vous en voulez une suggestion long-shot? Enzo Concina."

Don't forget he was also the first one to suggest Marco Di Vaio as a DP before the Impact even played their pre-season MLS Games. So he knows a lot of stuff inside the club

EDIT: Actually found the video lmao http://www.rds.ca/zone-video/#cat=re...joueur désigné

Leduc is either a genius or he really has contacts inside the team.

Either way, surprise surprise, an italian coach. Granted, he played for team canada during his career as a player, I hope he speaks either english or french at least.

PS: why is the thread no longer sticky?

It's because the season is over (which is a ridiculously stupid reason) but it is what it is.

He played for the Impact and is Canadian, so he speaks English for sure. Probably a little french from his Impact years, but doubt it. Hes assistant at Napoli, he can't be that bad of a coach

If we hire that coach, is there any chance he brings along a couple of players from Napoli ?

Maybe marginal reserve players. Napoli are a contending team so forget about first team player.

They got a pretty good striker down there at Napoli. I think he might cost just a little bit too much though

I mean Joey paid 40M$ to get the Impact in MLS.. I'm sure he could pay the 45M$(~30Million pounds) for that guy right?

I heard that he is pretty good as well

Cavani would rip the living heart of every single MLS defender and show it to him before scoring the amount of goals he wants.

Btw Bernier is in nomination for Canadian player of the year. Doubt he wins it though.

Especially since there's no hockey, we could keep those stickied. Plus, the training camp is in a bit more than a month. Why unsticky it for such a short period? Anyway, I won't go further since we're not allowed to talk about the actions of the mods

2 guys from Quebec nominated is really nice to see.

Btw next season will start 2 weeks earlier. On one hand it's nice because we'll be able to see them play earlier but on the other hand i dont know if it means that we'll have to play more games in the olympic stadium.

From the Impact website

The Montreal Impact’s 2013 season will once again begin at Olympic Stadium (2 or 3 games max.) before returning at the newly expanded Stade Saputo.
