I didn't even know they had Hannu Toivunen. I'm guessing they got rid of him because they have enough depth. Man, when I was a little kid I thought he was going to be the best. Oh, how the stars have shifted. You'd think he'd play oversees for better pay.

But yeah, he played in Swedish Allsvenskan (2nd highest league) last year but the team folded so he signed with Solar Bears this month.

Hank Hope would be a direct translation, even if "Hannu" as a name is derivative of "Johannes" (John) from the Bible. And obviously, toivo = hope.

Aeros looking great early on. Best they have looked since Granlund and Brodin went down. Zucker with two scoring chances. Starting PP right now.

Heat tie it up 1-1. One of those periods where Aeros dominate play and then Heat come down and get 3 or 4 shots on one shift and score.
