Owuya might be a little rusty?

He may also be cold. Marlies outshot them 11-6 in that period, we can't be certain but that would suggest that the Marlies are controlling the game and there isn't much action in their end.

"D'amigo-Kadri-Frattin is a new look line for the #Marlies. Mid period switcheroo. #MarliesLive

In the other thread I asked for Ashton with Kadri and Frattin, but I'll take this one.

Kadri should be played at center.

Marlies seem to have come back strong in the 2nd extending their shot lead to 14-7. Still no goals for them...

Kadri playing a heck of a game so far but pointless.
I'm surprised at how Frattin and Gardiner have looked so flat the last couple of games; they generally dominate.
Marlies definitely seem like the better team today, just like the last two games, but now they are down 3-0.

Nice goal by the Bears.
These last 3 games have been tough to watch.

I can see Frattin taking time to get into game shape, but not sure why Gardiner would be having issues.

Yeah, Frattin just doesn't seem to have the attitude he carried the first couple of games. He was just running over everybody and shooting alot. He just looked like he couldn't be deterred.
Gardiner isn't rushing like he used to. That could be a good thing too because he shouldn't be trying it in the NHL all the time, but, I miss seeing him skating around with the puck in the offensive zone for a solid minute.

Kadri and Aucoin with assists but I don't think either of them touched the puck beforehand. Oh well... New Kadri point streak starts today.

Brutal holding call on Joe Colborne. He was interfered with and then got a penalty called on him.

Insane action the last two minutes.
Owuya with a few big saves.
kadri with a giant hit.
Coborne in alone and robbed.
Fraser beats some guys face in.

I don't blame Owuya yet. He hasn't been given enough chances. This is his third game only out of like 16/17. He needs to get more starts otherwise he will stay rusty.

No wonder they're having trouble score. The other team has Holtby in their net.

A lot of games given away by the goaltending so far this year. Maybe the Leafs want to prepare the players for what they'll see once they make the NHL.

Great pressure from the Marlies this period but they can't buy one.
They really are a good team. They'll turn it around one of these days.
