Yes and if the same refs didn't screw up *another* call, the Pack doesn't even get that one touchdown.
Seattle still wins.

Bills are "in hunt" too...just looking at the schedule (Colts, Jaguars, Rams, Seahawks, Dolphins, and Jets). Every one of those games are winnable...it's conceivable the Bills could finish 9-7 or even 10-6 if God decides to be merciful (then again, it's also the Bills, so 6-10 is equally likely, but still). Only 2 road games (Colts, Jets) and the Seahawks game in Toronto.

Dolphins still have the Patriots twice. They're pretty done too.

Saints had control of their own destiny after being 0-4. Even though they lost, still impressive. Eagles started 3-1 and went down in flames fast.

Seattle might be in trouble if suspensions to both of their cornerbacks hold up

I guess Optimus Prime needed to cheat to beat Megatron

Correct order:

TB
MIN
WSH
DAL
NO

I suspect the 6 teams in playoff spots right now will make it in. Seattle has 3 games they should win (at home to Rams and Cards, @ Bills in Toronto at 4 PM ET, huge break for SEA). They could also beat the 49ers at home.

But if Seattle loses both CBs, things change dramatically. I am waiting to see what happens there.

San Fran is the team to beat right now. I had my reservations about Alex Smith but with Kaepernick they look solid. Don't care what Atlanta's record is. Barring major injuries of course.

Of the NFC's top teams, the Falcons are the only one whose playoff fate is likely to be directly tied to whether or not they have home-field advantage. Attaining the #1 seed certainly does not mean that the Falcons will reach the Super Bowl, as I would argue that the 49ers, Giants, and the Packers (if healthy) are considerably better teams and would be favored to beat Atlanta even if the game was in the Georgia Dome. But the Falcons have a much greater chance of beating one of the NFC powerhouses in Atlanta as opposed to on the road. The possibility of having to win in Candlestick, Lambeau, or Metlife in January would mean almost certain demise for the Falcons. I'm sure that every team prefers to play at home in the playoffs, but I don't think that the 49ers, Giants, or Packers (assuming that they all win their divisions) are all that worried about going on the road in January. I think that the prospect of having the bye week is by far the biggest prize for being one of the top 2 seeds, and the 49ers look poised to lock up the #2 seed now that they have navigated the difficult part of their schedule. That tie may end up biting the 49ers, however, especially if they finish with the same number of wins as the Giants (who won the head-to-head meeting and would get the #2 seed based on that).

You should not post any more playoff scenario posts ever, seriously. You screwed up the AFC so bad last week, please don't misinform the reading public of HF Boards again.

Atlanta probably won't even win a playoff game, so nothing to worry about.

NFC playoff picture gets really interesting when you look at the schedules off the 6-5 teams and below.

Seahawks (6-5): Bears, Cardinals, Bills, 49ers, Rams.
Buccaneers (6-5): Broncos, Eagles, Saints, Rams, Falcons.
Vikings (6-5): Packers, Bears, Rams, Texans, Packers.
Redskins (5-6): Giants, Ravens, Browns, Eagles, Cowboys.
Cowboys (5-6): Eagles, Bengals, Steelers, Saints, Redskins.

Every team imo has 3 very difficult games and two easier opponents they can't afford to lose. The Vikings are the exception with 4 tough games.

I think its conceivable that one of these 5 teams can go 4-1. Whoever does makes the playoffs i think.

Wouldn't it be crazy if the Colts ended up playing the Broncos in the Wild Card round? Manning vs Luck, this game would draw HUGEEEEEEEEEEE ratings.

You misspelled Cincinnati and forgot Buffalo, I guess.

Oh wait, you forgot Miami too, who are now ahead of all of those teams aside from CIN. I think awfulwaffle is a Dolphin fan.
