God damn, I thought I had a deep team, but I am getting decimated with injuries. My 1 and 2 dmen are out for about 30 games, my 1st line RW is out for 25 more after the 10 hes already missed, my 3rd line center is out for about 10, and my 2nd line LW has missed every game but 1 so far.
Who had Patrick O'Sullivan when he had 40 points in 70 games a year or two ago and what line did he play on? I signed him as a stop gap in my top 6 and am hoping he can play at that pace or a little better.
On the 2nd/3rd line (depending on injuries of course)
Luke Schenn Top 4 dman
Artem Anisimov Elite #2 centre
Darren Helm cheap and good 3rd line centre.
Not interested in Goalies or Defensemen or Centers. Not interested in anyone 27 or older. Not interested in anyone with 3 star potential. Not interested in 3rds or later.
However if you think you can make a good offer, despite me being anal about it, PM me it.
How the hell is Montreal so good? It's basically the Habs of today (3 years older) with Dustin Penner. Pascal Leclaire has started most of the games...

I dont know how I am 10th in the league in goals for per game. I have Giroux on pace for 80 points, and my next highest scorer has 27 points, which is a 54 point pace. I guess I am getting a ton of scoring from my depth? Speaking of which...Thomas Vanek is pissing me off. He had 36 points in 70 games last year, regressed 2 overall, and now he is on pace for 50 this year. I mean thats all right, but being stapled to the first line on Giroux's wing should = 40 goals.

EA and logic is not a good comparison. I mean look at the Stanley Cup champs being 50% scrubs (no offense Silf).
It's hard to shape up a contending team when players that are good in real life suck in this game. The playoffs are also a coin flip. You can go in with a stacked team and see a first round exit, or your can go in with a team of scrubs and win it all.
lol my team apparently wants to all score the same points. None of them are even top 20 in scoring best I got is statsny with 30 but winning by committee is still winning I guess...
Hey guys, long time lurker here at HF, decided to finally make an account.
So which teams are available? And the league is all Sim based right?
Hey welcome to the boards. Yes the league is all sim based.
If I'm not mistaken these are the teams that are available:
Columbus Blue Jackets
L.A. Kings
Minnesota Wild
Montreal Canadiens
Ottawa Senators
Tampa Bay Lightning
Phoenix Coyotes
San Jose Sharks
Vancouver Canucks
Keep in mind we are now running into season 3 so rosters have been altered.
I would take OTT, what is the league called? Did you guys do a fantasy roster? And are trades with CPU disallowed?
League name is: Senators hf boards
No we didn't do a fantasy draft and trades with CPU is disallowed. Spezza and Karlsson are still on the Sens...I snagged Phillips from FA and I'm not sure if Alfie retired in game or what.
