What did people think of the new camera angle watching the game on tv? It took a little getting used to for me. I thought they zoomed in a little too much sometimes but it definitely is much lower to
The ice.
I thought the angle was OK, although there were a few times where it looked like the ledge got into the pic, especially if they were trying to pan into the near corners.
Did you get a chance to check out the Gallery row 1 seats? I'm concern about the glass in front of them.
Didn't stop by the gallery seats, sorry.

You mean how it transitions? It's hard to describe. The floor gradually rises to a higher level which was noticeable last year as it rose to the corners where the towers were. The sideline part of the concourse feels different than the end zones though as the end zones are much darker compared to the sidelines.
Went to Aerosmith concert last week. I sat in the 1st row of 227. The glass only bothers people in the 1st 2 rows. It makes no sense! The most expensive seats have issues with the glass. The glass is ok 3 rows & up except for where the stairs are. the glass is 2 feet taller for protection.
I am hoping the view is different for hockey than a rock concert. Garden is lit up for hockey - I hope it doesn't effect view.

exactly what i was looking for. no steps right? it just gradually rises?
for aisle seats any problems with railings glass etc as you move higher up in 200s???..my seats are section 211 row 14 seats 1 and 2 ....paying $79 a game last thing i want is obstructed views
wow they added televisions above the obstructed seats in the 400s. How the view from the blue seats with the glass in front, any better?
There's no glass, it's the same bar that they just painted over. I was sitting in 420 the other night and people leaning over the bar is still an issue.

Is it possible they didn't put the glass because of the construction of the bridge next year? They will be working very close to the railing, so if any debris from building the bridge falls on it (which could easily happen from that close), it could break. Maybe they'll replace it with glass next summer?

They've been teasing it in one of the promos for MSG original programming (show them talking about how important the blue seats are) but I don't remember seeing any dates.
Last season it aired in February so maybe that's their plan again for this one.
well section 227 has obstructed views a buddy of mine had season tickets in 227 and they called him yesterday saying they were obstructed and they first noticed at the Cornell game and moved his seats to 226

Obstructed in what sense?
Looking at the seating chart now, I'm assuming it's because of the 9th floor luxury boxes that come out just like the issue was in 401/428 in the past. I could have told you that would have happened just based on the chart, I don't know why MSG is just realizing this now.
