Where is Wallace?

Woodson rotations are strange.

Melo went cold at a bad time. Felton needed to stop shooting.

Knicks need help on the boards, Tyson doesn't have it.

Would've been nice to steal the first one in BK. But there will be plenty more of these.

Game over.

This is brutal to take in. I hate the Nets.

Well now the question has to be asked- was the hot start a fluke?

Why would it be a fluke?

Because we've looked terrible defensively over the last 6 games.

D has been struggling since. I think it's time to stop employing 'Melo at the 4 at all costs.

Needs to be better with utilizing Camby too.

Well for one, there is no practice time. You need that to go over rotations and stuff. They haven't practiced since the 14th.

Also, teams have adjusted to this small lineup the Knicks run out there.
What's also becoming obvious is the absence of Shumpert on the perimeter.

It's now official, Sting. Melo is my new Arod. Skill aside, he's just a complete turd.

I'll root for him only because of the uniform he wears. But the flopping, the crying, the laziness....I thought he was turning over a new leaf under Woodson, but nope...same old childish, selfish garbage from his Denver days.

And for the record, this has nothing to do with the last few losses. Even in victory, his mannerisms bother me.

Same with A-Rod. In my 30-plus years of watching sports in this town, it's hard to find to more unlikeable stars from my own team than A-Rod and Melo.

And for the record, the tonight was the Knicks 8th game in 12 nights with six of those on the road. In that span they played at San Antonio, at Memphis, at Dallas, at Houston and at New Jersey.

They also didnt have Kidd tonight.

As long as the Knicks beat the teams they are supposed to beat and play .500 against the very good teams, they should win 50-55 games.

The Knicks are a legit team. But they're old and I think they're exhausted. They should win at least three of the next four, maybe all four heading into Miami.

12-5 heading into the Heat game would be nice.

the knicks are gonna make the playoffs. i think its pretty safe to say that. especially cause the east is not really all that good. the only question is if they can make a run once they get there. i think the nets most likely will make it too.

I just can't get over how god awful Felton is without Kidd.

Woodson is starting to show some warts....

Agreed

They're both overpaid and overrated

Got into an argument with my friend who refused to admit Wallace flops a lot.

I really dislike a lot that team's fanbase. Makes me ashamed to be from Brooklyn .

The "Brrrroooookkkkklllllyyyn" chant reminds me of the "Meeellllloooo" chant at the garden.

Knicks fans realized it was stupid and stopped. Hopefully the Net fans realize the same.

New York teams should be tough......and their star players should be tough, no-nonsense leaders who dive into stands, hustle to the last whistle and at least look like they have a true respect for the game...

Frazier, Hernandez, Jeter, Mattingly, Leetch, John Starks, LT, Curtis Martin etc.

Arod and Melo are just frauds. To me, they're the anti-NY sports "stars".

Yeah it sounds like something out of Orlando or Miami.

I mean, taking a derisive chant but turning it into a rally cry????

Makes zero sense to me.

Oh MAN that was a fun game.

Can't tell you how much I enjoy rooting for the only Brooklyn team, which plays like a team and doesn't - as others have so eloquently pointed out - have a complete turd as the centerpiece, star, focus, etc. So refreshing to root for Lopez and D-Will and Crash and Evans and damn near everyone on the Nets, both as members of the Nets and individual players.

As for the chant? Hey, I'm not a huge fan, but by the same token, it's very Brooklyn Dodgers-esque to take something derisive and embrace it and take it on as your own. It may grow on me. (And besides, isn't criticizing a chant in the wake of defeat the kind of thing Islanders fans do...?)

a-rod won two mvps and was a big part of the 09 world series run. without him they probably still dont have a world series since 2000. the guy is just getting old and suffers injuries more often now. he was just the scapegoat this year. bottom line is the whole offense didnt do anything. the owner was the one who decided to give him that long contract. i wasn't a big arod fan till what he did in 09.

LOL Melo has been playing great so far this season.

He is the only starter who can even create his own shot with Amare out and JR off the bench.
