The good about my parents is they never checked up on me or anything. Nor did they ever give a **** what I was doing before exams. As long as the final marks were fine on the report card, they were cool.
Lucky. My parents are def not chill like that. Maybe it's cause I'm the last child and its some attachment thing, but they are constantly at my case. I always joke that they hate everything I do. I watch hockey-stop watching so much hockey (begin rant). I listen to music-stop listening to music, you always have headphones in, you'll go deaf (being rant). I read- stop reading so much, its all stupid stories, don't get so involved in the book, your always reading (begin rant). I can never win

LMAO were the Bobcats really just losing 82-29 to OKC? That's what the commentator of the Panthers/Eagles game just said..And like now I go to nba and it says 88-43 for OKC so like I think he's right...Like damn wtf..I know some teams get destroyed but 82-29 haha that's a sight to see..waw.

As important as it is for kids to gain a sense of responsibility for when they need it, they/you still need a childhood. Playing hockey and soccer while growing up was probably the only reason my dad wasn't as much as a hard ass as he could have been. It got me out of the house on a consistent basis as well as giving us (my dad and I) something to do together.
(although my mom has told me multiple times that if it wasn't for her, my dad would have forced me to get a job at 16 )
