Amazing that we are going to lose THREE years of Patrice Bergeron's career to stupid lockouts and that damn cheap shot... Missing out on Seguin developing...Looch beating John Scottt's ass... Chara will be another year older and slower...

Amazing two parties would rather make zero dollars then split 3.2 billion... Greedy ****ers.

I've been watching full B's games Dafoomie has been cool enough to post on YT. As well as extended local news broadcasts I dvr'd during the Cup run. I bet some people might go a lil easier on Marchand if they saw the interview he did w/ channel 7 after the ECF. With his eyeballs sweating hard, voice cracking w/ emotion, he talked a/b what it meant to him personally to be recognized by the B's fans. Never gets old, glad I never deleted it. Not to mention coverage of the city going ape-**** over the ECF and finals.

I don't understand how some are taking this so well. It was one thing when we sucked in 04. We have a contender now. I know it's just a game, but this is torture for me.

Well said.

Btw, the good thing a/b Chara is; he can't get too much slower. As long as he has that ridiculous poke check and stick lift/forklift going on, he'll remain effective. Half the reason he smoked Patches in the first place. He seems to punish people that go out of their way to make him look slow.

Is there any post game locker room footage of the cup victory? The only one I could find was of seguin doing the dougie with a cigar in his mouth

Dafoomie has consistently posted game options (which is great) however, for my level of frustration to remain at a nice calm level, I have chosen not to watch any of them (with all due respect), just makes the blood boil, I have chosen to support more of my Varsity team and of course, support the #1 ranked Junior team in Canada the Halifax Mooseheads.

Do I miss NHL hockey?? U betcha, if nothing else, when the league finally gets back to playing hockey, I won`t have to read the garbage being spewed by both sides with as much frequency.

Not sure what poster sjaustin will do if/when this ends, the fan has written book-length posts on the CBA thread, poor fan will be in withdrawl

I'm depraved right along with you. Watching this never gets old. Never.

Last night on NHL Network they replayed the final game at Boston Garden vs. the Habs.

Once again I saw Ray Bourque leading Normand Leveille around the ice. Once again I cried.

Last week they had a lot of Bruins-Habs playoffs from the late 70s on NHL Network, I enjoyed the heck out of it. I'm ready. Drop the puck.

Well we all know the answer to that question so you need to post another one in there*

* The answer for all you clueless people out there is Robert Gordon Orr.

Damn,I got caught up in one of those for 2 years, don't know that I changed a single opinion.

You can use this one; In Orr's career in Boston the Bruins were +760 with Orr on the ice and +3 with Orr off the ice.

My father isn't great at many things but he is a hockey guru. Watching since 1948. Says there was Bobby Orr then everyone else. He is a Rangers fan. Also says he would take Howe or Lemieux over the Great One.

NHL Network aired the Last Hurrah a couple days ago, I put it on YouTube. They cut an hour of ceremonies out, I put almost all of them back in. Only thing really missing is 2 minutes of Serge Savard getting cheered and Harry Sinden getting booed before the puck drop.

As the official Grand Cyclops of the "Joe Thornton ballwashers committee". **** Joe Thornton!

On Orr and Gretzky -

#4 - Greatest player to ever play in either end of the ice. Most profound game-changer the game has ever seen. How many times did 99 set up Coffey in his career? Wouldn't have happened w/o Bobby Orr opening up the game for him.

#99 - Greatest offensive machine the game has ever seen, period. How do you score 93 goals in a season when you're not particularly fast; skating posture that would get you singled out at any powerskating session, built like an 11 year old boy, and terrified of standing in front of the net? Astonishing.

I doubt either player's genius or accomplishments at their respective positions will ever be equaled.
