I voted Malkin but it took me a long time to think about it because I like Datsyuk's playing style but Malkin is just too good. Thats my opinion.

Malkin is a Penguin can't vote for a player from my second most hated team in sports. Plus I still remember the slew foot he pulled on Mara in the 08 playoffs.

The only reason I can think of to dislike Datsyuk is jealously or just hating him because everyone likes him, which are both asinine reasons. I don't see him losing to anyone in the NHL, maybe Lidstrom if he didn't retire

i like datsyuk dont get me wrong, but hes becoming very overrated. i think hes a great player and deserves much respect and attention, but its starting to get annoying how much of a quantity he is getting. IMO anyway.
