vs should start Monday evening or sometime Tuesday. We here in Toronto cant wait to play our Rivals and look forward to a long physical series.
After a long hard fought series with Montreal, Leafs players spoke to members of the media after Sunday's practice leading up to Game 1 against provincial rival Ottawa.
"It was awesome to beat such an old rival in 7 games, but that is in the past and we, as a team, are looking forward to getting the opportunity to play Ottawa and hopefully doing what it takes for us to get to where we want to be." -Dion Phaneuf
"I felt like I didnt play my best series against Montreal, but you have to give them credit. Their defensemen were covering me from the start and gave me no time or space. I'm just glad the team made it out alive. Another all Canadian series and another long time Rival. This series should have a great atmosphere." -Phil Kessel
"I'm ecstatic that the team is moving on to the Conference Semi-Finals but I am also very frustrated that I will not be able to take part in the series. I have faith that the coaching staff will find a suitable replacement and give me time to heal my injury and hopefully return in time for a potential series in the Conference Finals." -James Van Riemsdyk.
Ok guys still a bunch of games to be played looks like everyone has been in contact with there opponents, let's push to have the round wrapped up by tomorrow night! If all goes to plan the offseason will begin next week!

Van and nashville just played 3 games, tied 2-2 now. He just logged off after game 4 so not sure when we can play next. Tomorrow I'm likely not available during the hour or so window he is usually on, so not sure how this will play out
Can we wrap up our series on Thursday night? I have a meeting tonight and won't be available until Thursday.
Jesus Christ, these injury settings are ridiculous. I've now lost Weber, Erat, Hornqvist, Wilson, Smith, and Klein in the playoffs. Hornqvist, Erat, and Klein are out for the rest of the playoffs. It seems like the slightest hit now gives my players a concussion.

Ok so the Sim will be pushed back to Thursday night to assure that the Vancouver, Nashville series can be completed. Ottawa did you ever get in contact with Toronto regarding his roster issue?

Not yet, unfortunately. I'd much rather play the rest of the series than sim and face injuries.
Ok well if you don't hear from him by about 8 pm PST i'll remove him then readmit him.. hate doing this but I'm sure he won't mind being as he already said you could play the CPU. that will give you 24 hours ro finish your series.
Great series by the way! Now looking forward to round 3 vs either Vancouver or Nashville
Thanks, you too. Your puck possession skills, and my over-aggressiveness was ultimately what cost me that series, I think. Though, it did come in handy in Game 3, which was the best game of our series.
Ok so Toronto has been temporarily removed to allow the Senators to wrap up their series. I will be conducting an activity check starting this weekend to make sure all GM's are active and ready for the offseason.
defeat the in six games. Anderson pulled his best Patrick Lalime impression letting in squeeker after squeeker. Spezza was concussed in game five and is likely to return in game two against the . Michalek will return for game one after missing the second round.

Good luck in the later rounds.
Also: you injured Ray Whitney you b-astard, you.
Thanks! Ya and game3 was nuts! I doubled your shots and Lehtonen was unreal and then you got an odd man rush and sniped a top corner shot in the last minute of OT
