Holy ****ing ****!!! The guy I am tied with for the wild card in my big money league was up 110-73 and the guy he was playing only had Cam Newton left. I had completely written off the game as a win for the guy I was tied with, so I would be 8-4 to his 9-3. Cam Newton had other ideas, goes for 300 YDs passing, 4 TDs, 50 YDs rushing, no turnovers, and the team he was on squeaks out a win, LOL. I was watching my phone the whole game, bit by bit it started to add up. WOW!!!!! I've been waiting for a break in this league all year and whoomp, there it is.

I've never had half the league tied for first place come playoffs. What an even league.

So for these 2-week playoff matches, is your lineup locked for both weeks or can you change it for the second week?

Also, why am I against Romers when he's first and I'm third? Shouldn't I be against ndgt since he's in 2nd?

Unless I got the numbers wrong... I'm going by what I saw last night. Hard to check at work sometimes.

You didn't. That was based on the assumed rankings someone posted earlier. My team ended up in the #3 spot due to a big final week, so I'd assume it goes #1 vs #4 and #2 vs #3.

Ok that explains that. He's just a speed bump on my way to the championship anyways.

Had an amazing day on the waiver wire. Of course, in this league I got Moreno for my flex spot. In my big money league, despite being 10th of 12 in priority, my claim for Bush went through. I am so ****ing happy about that as my RB2 has been a revolving door since MJD went down. This gives me a chance at a legit starting running back in that spot for the week. I have no idea what the other guys were thinking, actually, only two people ahead of me claimed guys, which is unusual for that league. The guys picked before were Lafell and Jennings. Jennings is a nice pickup and he was on my list but obviously after Bush, who was my No. 1 choice. I still see Bush as the better gamble but it is somewhat of a risk if Forte does end up playing. Still, the upside is pretty big in what should be a trench war with Seattle.

Nice grab. I need Matt Ryan to have a huge game Thursday night to start off the playoffs for me. I'm thinking 400 yards and 4 TDs! If 150 yards and 2TDs could go to Julio Jones, that would be awesome!

Pretty similar team... I'd say I have the advantage on defense....
Ur rb is injured but if I had McGhee I'd say I have a slight advantage
Wr are a wash but overall we have a similar team

You guys have better teams but mine is a 12 team league, have:

QB: Drew Brees
RB: Doug Martin
RB: Michael Bush (have MJD too)
WR: Brandon Marshall
WR: Mike Williams
WR: Michael Crabtree
TE: Antonio Gates
K: Steve Gostkowski
DST: Ravens
Bench:
MJD
Danny Amendola
Vick Ballard
Daniel Thomas
Packers

I like my team. I need Amendola to get healthy so I can sort out my receivers. Williams was big for me all year until the last couple weeks. Now, I am wondering if I should put him or Crabtree on the bench for Amendola. Amendola killed SF last time he played them. That's my only decision to make this week but the rest of my lineup is set.

Seriously. Bragging about a stacked team that good just means you're going up against newbies.

I'm actually in a league of people who know football even better than I do

Granted it's just a 10-teamer, though.

An NHL lockout makes for some strange thread choices for posts I guess. I haven't posted in an NHL thread in a couple of months, just this one and the Bears one. I'm too irritated to even talk about hockey with this lockout still going on.

Alright, what do you guys think about Mike Williams vs. Devon Bess vs. Santana Moss. I'd have to drop a running back, Ballard or Thomas, or the Packers DST but at this point, I need all hands on deck. I have Mike Williams, thinking about picking up Bess or Moss to start for him. Williams has been bad the last couple weeks but you figure it will be a high scoring game against Denver. Should I just stick with him or make the move on one of the other guys?
