If anyone is interested, I'll be putting him on the market later today.
I can't read whether he is L/R/U but he looks good enough. I wasted 44M on scoreboard/car park etc. so I don't have as much cash as I should but I'll toss a bid. Just post a link.
He is a right side defenceman. I'll put him for 3 days so on Wednesday, don't really expect all that much, anything will be nice I'll post the link when i put him on the market.
But when I was looking to finalize the roster, I realized that I can play Ivan Hricek. He's down to day to day. I suppose it's risky, but I need someone else back there who is at least competent. And his injury is just a fractured finger. Why that would stop a soccer dman I don't know.
I'm just hoping to keep it respectable. Heck, not even respectable. I just don't want to see another 0-4 thumping like I got on Thursday. Damn goalie needs to step up big time.
By the way, karma being what it was. I donate all kinds of time and money for the CanAm tournaments and in turn had a game auto-cancelled so I didn't have a hockey game today.
So my goal in Hockey was to make playoffs in II.3 for the first time (won III.11 and promoted back in season 7). I far surpassed my expectations and with the win this morning I have now clinched 3rd.

Congrats buddy! Glad to hear. I got third too, saved some energy and the couple points I lost because of it dropped me out of the title slot.
It's been a miserable start to the season in Bombsville. I tried to get cute and save money by running both camps at the start of the season. Doing it this way, I wouldn't need Player Training SDs until the end of season 10. I chose to keep some older players out of the camps so I could still field a competitive team. Then things went to hell in a hand basket.
First problem was McCready serving a 3 game suspension for picking up his 12th red card in the last game of last season. That was actually one of the reasons why I said to hell with it and ran some camps. I purposely left 3 solid dmen out of camp so I would have a chance to steal a game 1-0 or something. Then dman Ivan Hricek gets hurt for 9 days at the beginning of the season. I don't know how I won the first game 2-1 using what amounted to two dmen.
The second game wasn't quite as good. Dman Colby Paquet picked up a red card in the first half. That left me with one real dman. Final 0-4.
I was 'lucky' in the third game that Hricek was down to day to day so I could use him. I tried my damnedest to add another competent dman. Didn't happen. Game 3 was played with 1.75 real dmen, a bottom of the barrel prospect (Milo Garland has played in every game this season!), and the newest youth pull Pierre Holland (who has 60 defense). Lost this one 0-2 and Junior Lemieux picked up a red card in the 90th minute!
I already have two red cards this season after having none last. And two sendoffs in 3 games when I only had one in 42 games last season.
Could it get any worse?!?
Thankfully McCready is back from suspension & camp. So he's a go, but he's backed up by young Colt Diaz. I haven't trained Mr.Diaz optimally. I'm mostly building up his secondaries/tertiaries. He's not bad, but he's no Lemieux, yet. And I was able to keep some promising young dmen out of camp. So I have 4 competent players on the back end for the first time this season. But it's still not my best lineup
Sorry to hear it's been a rough go, but it'll make the rest of the season better for you. I won my opening game before losing 1-0 on a PK in a game I dominated against the top OTS team. Beat an inactive in game 3 and have another tough test today on the road. Though, I guess all games are tough now. Heck, even some of the inactives have 60+ OTS.

What happened to the cKs? I think I asked this before, but... I'm stupid.
Wow. They canned him for fixing matches. That's a bit of a shock. I didn't think they'd go that far with an established team. I would have fined him a ridiculous amount. Then started knocking down his stadium if he persisted.
How did they catch him? I would think that would be easy enough to hide.

I'll be selling a handful of good players if anyone is interested. Rastislav Falk- 20yo 5/6 1058or center (68/94/78/96)
--6/6 at 18yo, I know his Off Q is low, but he was still one of my favorites.
Mark Yang- 21yo 4/6 1034or winger (79/80/74/94/95)
--First season at 4/6, three @ 5/6 and three @ 6/6
Marcel Archman- 21yo 5/6 1024or defense (99/57/87/84)
--6/6 at 18yo
Viktor Butylkin- 21yo 4/6 1025 defense (92/40/94/92)
--First season at 4/6, three @ 5/6, three @ 6/6.
Mikey Lentz- 20yo 4/6 1007or defense (85/83/89/83 +95shot)
--Second season @ 4/6 after four seasons @ 5/6.
I think that covers the important bits. I'll probably list them each for 10M. Is that too much?

I are poor*. Though those are some fine players you're selling sir.
*Note: I won't be poor once I get some sponsor cash in but I really do need to save for lvl 15 facilities given the 44M I wasted in scoreboard/ice quality/lighting and sound/parking the other day.

:
I watched the replay and the foul actually occurred in the 92nd minute (ouch!).

My soccer offense has been consistent, but not explosive yet this season. That gives me a pretty clear indication of what my next big purchase should be. However, 4-0 and in 1st place is a good start regardless of the GD.
My hockey team has qualified for the playoffs and I believe its the first team a team that was started after season 1 has made the USA I.1 playoffs. I'll end up somewhere between 6th and 8th in the regular season, but would love to avoid the IF in the first series (although the 2nd-5th teams are also a tier above mine).

Not sure what to make of my team. Today was yet another game that I dominated on shots and had a clear advantage in terms of possession and only won 1-0.

The first thing I seen was Clearing the ball out of danger.
Your team are far stronger, so passing the ball around their forwards with your defenders would (and should) make a difference.

Damn. That sucks! and it most definitely can get worse. Colt Diaz picked up two yellow cards in today's match. Up to three send offs in four mother flipping games. It happened right after halftime and the other team tied it up four minutes later. I luckily held on for a tie.
Worst start to a season ever. I'm just waiting to se who gets injured tonight.
Oh yeah. I started my camps in hockey. Starting goalie is out for six days. Freaking training camp is a curse sometimes.

That would be the first thing I'd change.
I tried that once. I lost a big game because my defender "failed to clear the ball when attempting to make a pass". I've never switched back since.
Just paid out 11M to keep my only remaining day 1 player. His C/L is 3/6 and he likely won't play much in the future but I can't come to terms to sell him. He's currently my #2 but my young #3 is knocking at the door. I suppose is anyone makes me a good offer (better than the 20M bid he drew as an RFA) I may change my mind. Call me silly but this guy is the reason my club is as strong facility wise as it is. Made all the difference in the early seasons to get my club to where it needed to be. From there, I could mess things up!
Season 9: 108pts - 1st
Season 10: 102pts - 1st
Season 11: 101pts - 1st
Season 12: 97pts - 3rd
Two trains of though:
1) My guys are getting older and everyone is catching up.
2) Leagues are getting more competitive due to the better teams settling into the top leagues.
Either way, I'm going all-in for promotion to I.1 and from there will have to decide how to proceed. If I fail to promote I'll fire-sale and re-build buying a bunch of rookies.
I tried, brother. I really didn't need another player this late in the season, but I went for it anyway. Got him over 18M for you

My hockey team is on a downward slide, as well
47 pts
18 pts
6 pts
I suck. And I can't wait to see the team you put together if you rebuild. You should have a lot more money to play around with.
I saw, thanks. A nice little injection of cash in my bank, now I won't need to take as big of a loan as i would have otherwise at the start of the season to get my arena upgraded.
I expected to be battling to not be demoted this season, but added quite few veterans and ended 8th and have final playoff spot. Could have won few more games at the end of the season against stronger teams if i went high or very high intensity but was kinda saving energy and hoping to finish 8th, since 1st place team is kinda semi-active, like one login per week or something, played entire season 3 lines with medium intensity and overloading first two lines, his team strength has fallen quite a bit since the start, maybe i have a chance for the upset, who knows. Hopefully he forgets to log in and set intensity to maximum
Wouldn't mind going on a cinderella run and end up with the extra 20+ millions from qualifying for promotion/relegation round but i'm not looking too far ahead.
Do we get our money for regular season finish tomorrow? Also another question say i have a player with skills 200-100-100 (primary-sec-sec) and his season energy is 50/50, does that mean he plays like a 100-50-50 player? I bought someone but it seems he might not be very useful for me until start of next season.
