Will be interesting to see if Char Lan will be able to turn everything around at one point. Because right now it looks like them and Winchester have traded spots.

Akwesasne had very close game vs Casselman before losing it in the final minutes. Rematch next week.

December should be a very interesting month for these teams

I'm guessing Rodier (if that's who you mean) will play his one game so that he can play next year as a 21 year old.

Weird. He's from Kanata, you think he would play for Stittsville. His dad used to be part owner too.

I thought the rules had changed this year as to how many games a 20 year old had to play with a Jr B team to be eligible to play as a 21 year old. I had heard that it was going to be 4 to 5 games, but maybe this was just a rumour....

If you had not played in the league before you are required to play 5 games in the EOJHL before your are eligible to play as an OA player.
However since Rodier has played in the league before he is only required to dress for one game this season in the league so he is allowed to play next season.

I do not believe Rodier played in league before unless he AP'd, played one season of Major Midget with Titans then stright to Jr A. Rule was changed this season, if you are an ODHA based player only need to play 1 game regardless of whether you played previously or not.

The funny part of this is that his dad bought the Stittsville Royals and he turned out to make Jr A.

For this situation, who keeps track of who has played where? Are there records that show? I could get a 20 year to play 1 game, and no one could ever check to see if he played as a 16 year old.

Renfrew/Arnprior

Big Valley Battle tonight...Arnprior in Renfrew...Renfrew adds M.Minns and C. Bradbury to line up from PLK...Renfrew still short some big guns in Anderson and Riopelle, but the additions will fit in nicely...predication....6-4 Renfrew..more importantly....I predict 400 plus fans at the game...

How many fans do they usually have?

Whats the average in the division in your opinion?

Jr A additions and Fan Support

As mentioned for Renfrew, they picked up Bradbury and Minns from PLK..Minns only played in a few games, but Bradbury played in most if not all..

In terms of attendance in the Valley, here goes from most to least (IMO)

Renfrew...average 300
Arnprior average 250
Shawville average 225
Perth average 225
Almonte average 150
Stittsville average 150

I have seen a few games in Renfrew this year above 350 to 400 and some in Arnprior to about 300 to 350.

Arnprior and Shawville seem to get the most high school students with Almonte getting some..

Renfrew and Perth seem to get the most elementary students or younger hockey players

Renfrew gets by far the most senior citizens. (great rink with excellent seats and the heat is usually on)

The rest are parents in all rinks

Ya...I was thinking about the 150 for Stittsville and I am going to revise my number downwards...

Arnprior took Renfrew 4-3...Steege had three for Arnprior....my only predication that was right was that there was about 400 at the game...and Renfrew let their fans down...again....Bradbury looked very good for Renfrew...but at the end of day...Arnprior was the better team

Perth is the team to beat right now... I can't see any other team coming out of that division... they put up 9 points against a good stistville team.

They have a couple of the best players in the whole ej, and there D care is staring to look real good.

Perth

At the start of the year, I thought the same, that Perth was going to be the team to beat but their D is slow. Great scoring up front from one guy, but then the rest fall of real fast. The problem with Perth is their rink. Teams go in there and it takes half the game to get accustomed to the corners while Perth jumps on all the home town bounces but once the other team figures out the angles then it is a close game. In the playoffs, team will get use to that odd rink very quickly and Perth will not make it out of the first round.

Arnprior/Renfrew/Stittsville

I think you are going to see Ethan Allard back in Arnrpior within the week. They have been having problems finding a winger for Steege and Lahoux and moving forward, they are going to need him if they want to win.

Renfrew continues to add up front and the back end....but they need Anderson and Riopelle back IF they are going to content down the stretch. I think Renfrew will just do enough to stay in fourth and try to keep people healthy until the playoffs

With Stittsville adding Kerwin, they jump up in the toughest scale, which they needed..I am sure last's night loss was a fluke,,,Perth is just not that much better than Stittsville.

Agreed everyone seems to be forgetting that Arnpriors leading scorer was out injured

Metcalfe 5, Renfrew 2

Both teams entered this game short staffed...Jets short five forwards from regular line up.....tough battle for most of the game...chippy at times....Metcalfe earn fourth straight 5-2....Renfrew fans-coaches seemed frustrated with the refereeing but the missed calls were well distributed to both teams
