He plays midget AAA and will be playing for Collège Antoine-Girouard in this tournament, his normal team.

The roster you're looking at is the Midget Espoir All-Star team that will be playing against the 15 QMAAA teams and four teams from the Maritimes in this tournament.

I think he is the # 1 D prospect in the up coming Midget draft out of Quebec?

Jeremy Roy plays Midget AAA with college Antoine Girouard.

The list I mentioned along with the team listed above is all players 97 born who are not playing Midget AAA. They are Midget Espoir players.

the team listed above is a Midget Espoir all star team that will be participating in the Reebok challenge against the AAA teams.

I understand the dynamics my question is where can we find some info on him , for example a website for his team or a league site with info on him and his team.

Yes they certainly could be drafted but they are all 96' born players. This is a 97' thread.

I know we have been talking about 97's here but what 96's do you think are in the draft mix this year from NB ?

I saw a few games at the Reebok Challenge in Quebec city and the Maritime boys are struggling. Moncton has a nice team but I am not sure if they are ready to make the jump.

It may be level playing field if "Maritime Boys" had an Allstar team as the Quebec teams do

They don't, the «allstar» team is from midget espoir, a lower caliber...

Is Jeremy Roy not playing in this tournament? I thought he was one of the best in Quebec why would he be playing on lower calibre team?

Three teams from Nova Scotia and one from New Brunswick total population of 1.5 million Quebecs population almost 8 million and has approx 90,000 kids playing hockey just based on sheer numbers Qubec should produce stronger teams, in saying that the Atlantic teams still have some talented players and it is a good expierence for them.

Checked his last post, was a month ago. He could just be busy with his team and may not have the time. Don't follow him on twitter anymore so maybe he's tweeting.

Nope, I just checked and his last tweet was in September.
I'd try to ask but my account is protected and I refuse to make it public.

Definitely miss his input.

I'll tweet him later and if he answers I'll post what he says, I'm sure it's just due to his teams work.

He told me he wasn't going to be posting lists anymore. Some asshat took one of his lists, made 1 minor change and posted it as an article of his own last season.

Edit: The asshats name was Jonathan Dunphy from Charlottetown, PEI. He writes for The Q Spot and TheHockeyGuys. I remember last season seeing the plagiarized list and scoutman wasn't too impressed. He also mentioned the fact that he gets paid to scout for a team and he's releasing lists for all to see/steal which isn't really a good idea lol

Quick question on Newfoundland's midget AAA league. I see Tri-Pen has played only 4 games and were forced to shutdown the team. Anyone knows the reason for that. Are they coming back in the league next year?

Also, what about the Northern Huskies. I see them in the standings but haven't played any games this year.

Tri Pen's always awful unfortunately. I don't know what happened exactly but I can imagine their poor quality had something to do with it

Went to their site and saw this:

they just couldn't get enough players to commit to playing all season.

the huskies haven't been in the league in a couple of years.

the nfld kids have it tough. they're so spread out, and it costs a small fortune to play and run a team.
