Hey Guys, I am a Leafs Fans... But I am a Skins fan. Just wanted to let you know incase you start wondering why a Leafer might be hanging around your forum . I am a relatively new Skins fan (had a tough time choosing a team since I am no where near an NFL team). But it started with Orakpo and the drafting of Trent Williams. It was solidified with the drafting of RG3 and Alfred Morris (Amazing for a 6th Round Pick). RG3 is amazingly fun to watch and I am excited for the future with him. It was a hefty price to pay to get him, but well worth it it seems. I also enjoy the division and find it easy to jump on hating the Cowboys and Giants. I am still trying to learn a bit of the history, but you may see me post here in the near future. Cheers!

Big game on MOnday night for a number of reasons. Playoff implications and division standings aside, this will be the first time Griffin and the offense will be facing a team for the 2nd time in a season. How will the Giants defense differe from the first meeting, and how will Griffin and friends react? Will say a lot for the Skins moving forward.

Sticking with my standard expectations.

Could they win? Sure. Is it likely? No.

As long as they play decent.

Nice call last year on the eagles choking, Fountain Head.

Ok so who knew that RG3 is leading the league in 2WR sets passer rating?

http://stats.washingtonpost.com/fb/l...e=nfl&rank=224

I have to think its a heavy run look, and we are just killing it with play action, but still, its nice to have a QB leading in any category. And he leads in first half PR as well. Nice to see Mike FINALLY stop deferring.

There is a great breakdown of the Robinson TD by LavarLeap56 here

Gif below - a stud play by both Garcon and RG3. Previous QB's would have just panicked and thrown that to the designed spot and been picked off, or held it and took a sack. He threw the ball in the only spot where it could still be caught. Few WR's in our history can make that catch, let alone score.

Tragedy struck in the NFL early Saturday morning with the news that a Kansas City Chiefs player committed suicide at the team's Arrowhead Stadium practice facility, after shooting and killing his girlfriend at home a short time earlier, SI.com has learned.

The player who shot himself is fourth-year linebacker Jovan Belcher, 25, Kansas City police have confirmed. There are no other known injuries at the Chiefs facility

Talk about tragic. Shot himself right in front of Romeo Crennel and Scott Pioli after thanking them for all they had done with for him.

Sure seems to be a lot of positive press involving the Skins heading into Monday nights game with the Giants. In the past that signaled us Skins fans were certain to be disappointed. Especially on Monday nights. But with Griffin anything seems possible. Regardless, for the first time in a while I am excited to see the Skins on Monday night.

So much for those who were sure Peyton Manning was done as a quality NFL QB.

Yes Mr. Manning is doing just fine, but I'd still rather have Griffin right about now.

Fletcher's consecutive games streak continues and will be extended to 236. Mike Shanahan said last week he never doubts Fletcher will play.

Seems clear to me at this point that the key to a Skins victory is run Alfred Morris, and run him a lot.

I guess holding in the NFL has gone the way of traveling in the NBA. Loose interpretation.
