Yeesh! Ive seen better North/South movement from a Foosball man.

The D on that team wearing the darks had brutal backwards skating skills.

I think he freaked out knowing he didn't have a stick and that Kopi was bearing down on him. Of course Kopi sees he has no stick and knows exactly who to go at.

It's the second tier league in Sweden, what do you expect? It's like Kopitar playing for Ontario Reign in the ECHL or something

late to say tnx...

Anyways, it seems that the Alsvenskan is getting quite good with guys like Landeskog, Berglund, Hagelin, Matt Read, Douglas Murray signings...
Would be interesting if MoraIK could compete for the top places to get back to the Eliteserien, especially after the poor start to the season they had.

Nice goal by Anze in yesterday's game, around 0.45s.

Good quality video.

Anže played on European Challange tournament for Slovene national team last week. Other participants were Italy, France and Austria. Slovenia won all 3 games (4:0 vs Italy, 3:1 vs France and 6:3 vs Austria). Anže scored 1 goal and had 4 assists, accumulating 5 points and sharing first place with 2 other players.

Slovenia team included both our NHL players (Anže and Jan Muršak from Detroit Red Wings) and was probably the strongest team we ever fielded (in comparison Italy was missing few of their best players, Austria was missing most of their NHL players etc.).

Other tidbits.. Slovenia coach is Anže's dad, Anže's younger brother was playing too (him and Anže played together on 2nd line). France goalie was Huet who played for Blackhaws iirc (or is he still on their roster? no idea).

Oh and yes.. Anže was a beast, trying to play his line mates a lot more than trying to score himself, when he got puck along the boards there was no chance some1 took it of him etc.. Was great to see him live.

Mora IK, the Swedish club Anze Kopitar has been spending his time with during the lockout, has an opening on their roster for an import player (note: European teams designate specific roster spots for native born players vs North American players. Thus, Ryan won’t be taking the spot of a Swedish born player).

Always had this weird feeling Bobby would sign with the Kings once he's a UFA. Call me crazy but its my hunch.

Bobby Ryan will become a UFA in 2015, just when Justin Williams' contract also runs out. Ryan would be 28 (same age as Kopitar) by that time. Williams would be 34. Maybe Ryan is testing it out to see what it would be like playing with Kopitar down the road.

The Jack trade was an opportunity though. I don't think it was a plan all along.

Wasn't Bobby a Kings fan growing up?
