Does anyone know if this day(June 28) on the schedule is the final one we have to sign our own rfa and ufa players before July 1st?

Yes, I am aware of the existence of July 29 and July 30 ha ha

For some reason though I remember someone mentioning that we got 3 sims to sign our own guys before the rest of the league had a chance at them.

Yeah we defs get a few tries at signing. Commish should be advancing every day, it takes 5-10 minutes to resign most of your players.

This is the third try now that we have had now to resign our own players. Does the next advance skip right to July 1st?

I just found out in the Xbox thread that the final period for some reason covers June 29th and June 30th.

Well looking at the transactions on my app looks like I signed pretty much every RFA on the first try...guess I offered too much lol.

So tried to look at how some of my players grew over the break:

Kovalchuk -1 to 90
Lecavalier +1 to 86
Shattenkirk +1 to 85
Andy Greene +4 (lol) to 84
Tallinder E to 84
Volchenkov E to 82
Elias -1 to 81
Purcell -1 to 81
Zubrus E to 79
Brule E to 78
Backlund +2 to 78
Fayne -1 to 78

I'm thinking Backlund's going to grow a lot since I'm going to target defensive growth for him and put him on the 3rd line.

Sauer jumped from a 75 to 84 on my backend!

That gives me

McDonagh (87) Del Zotto (86)
Staal (85) Girardi (85)
Sauer (84) Eminger/Potter (77)

Don't know if I can afford them all long term but I like the prospect of that defense.

Hagelin went from 77-80

Nash dropped from an 87-86.
Stepan dropped from 82-81.
Boyle went from 78-76.

Not much shifting otherwise that I can tell.

Sauer is apparently just one if the guys programmed to progress. I played a season in a league where injuries were off, and played Strahlman and Eminger over Sauer.

Sauer: 0 gp 0 g 0 a

Sauer: 75 ovr to 82 ovr haha

I'm sorry, because I have nothing against you and have had fun games with you, but I could not be more against team switching if I tried.

I agree with the team switching, it's not fair to the guys on the waitlist. I say if you want to change teams, you have to get back in line on the list to wait your turn, but if you want your old team back I wouldn't be against that.

Another thing, does anyone know what happens to the ufa/rfas of the cpued teams? automatically resigns everyone it can fit? An also will some of the lower tier cpu teams with cap space offer massive contracts to any decent ufa's that make it to market?

Wow, just realized Hickey jumped to 79 as a TWD and still has some more room for growth!

Doughty
Voynov
Greene
Scuderi
Martinez
Mitchell
Hickey
Drewiske
Muzzin

Way too many NHL D-men, anyone needin' some?
