Hulk really should have won the race. BOLD move by Force India to use the setup they did. I also agree that it's a bad move for Hulk to leave Force India for Sauber. Checo Perez really made the Sauber look faster than it is, but even Perez had a major dropoff in the 2nd half of the season.

Essentially, I think Perez gets his mcLaren ride based on one race. Hulk should have gotten the McLaren ride.

Paul DiResta is horribly overrated.
Hulk's not pinned at Sauber forever, he's still young.

Given that Massa's deal with Ferrari is only for next year, Alonso/Hulkenberg 2014.

I would like to see Kobayashi back next year for all the attention Perez gets and rightly so due to his promise and couple of podiums, I thought Kobayashi did decently well, when all was said and done he was only 6 points from Perez if I'm not mistaken.

Perez has had 3 podiums with... Sauber, for god sakes.

I'm a big fan of Hulkenberg but come on...

that's why he's moving to McLaren, he's a rising star no doubt..

but if you're responding in reference to my comment, Kobayashi finished only 6 points behind Perez after 20 races, that's very decent and I find it respectable ...over the course of a season that could just mean 1 race difference in performance, of course the closeness in points is due to Perez retiring double the times as Kobayashi did. None of these retirements was due to car failure though, literally all collisions, at times he def. looked like he went to the Romain Gorsjean school of driving...

same story goes for Hulkenberg, he just finished 3 points behind Perez, with ...Force India, for god's sakes...come on...

It was an answer to KevsFist

I'm surprised Hulkenberg finished so close to Perez

If Vettel did overtake in a caution then that's his problem and he deserves the penalty. Not expecting anything to come from this though but I find it amusing.

I've read that he did overtake twice with yellow flags, one to kobayashi and the other one to the toro rosso.

I think this won't go far though

yeah I read that in Spanish newspaper AS yesterday, didn't even bother posting it though as we can all agree the FIA won't do anything...it was funny and interesting at the same time though reading the view of many in Spain, because Alonso made a sarcastic tweet about this, and many many people label him as "lloron" lol crybaby

Under normal circumstances I doubt any progress is made in this "investigation". But because it's Ferrari headlining the acquisitions, who knows.

I like how the headline says it's Ferrari even though it's 100% speculation on the part of Andrew Benson.

Nope, rule states it's yellow until you pass it, he overtook Vergne before passing the green light...also his cockpit still displayed the yellow light in accordance to the rule

"However, FIA sources confirmed to Autosport that there is a marshal's post in between the yellow-flag sector in which the incident occurred, where a green flag was waved before Vettel overtook Vergne."

"Under FIA regulations as flags take precedence over lights, which are a supplementary aid, Vettel is in the clear. Race director Charlie Whiting has since confirmed the findings, saying: 'If the lights are not installed at a flag post, the driver responds to the first signal that is shown.
'In Vettel's case, between the last yellow light and the green light there was a green flag being waved.
'The distance is 350 metres here. Vettel responded to the flag and did everything right."

Yeah, that looks like a green flag on the left.

Is there any video about when he overtakes kobayashi with "apparently yellow flag"?
