If anything, this team needs more North Stars, not less. Logo is fine, I can't picture them wearing anything else (except those horrific wordmarks...)

I am in the minority in that I don't like the star-shaped jerseys. Not sure why, just didn't do it for me...

Of all the new football stadiums, it's either my 1st or 2nd favorite (well, only from what I can see on tv).

And that scoreboard/replay screen is quite a bit bigger than my house!
I don't want to derail this thread with Cowboys talk, so I'll be short. I've only been there once. If you look into the stands when they play next week, you'll notice a majority of the people staring at the 80yd TV that is directly over the field. The tv distracts fans from the game going on below it. That's why they had to E-mail all the season ticket holders to remind them to cheer. It's the quietest stadium in the NFL. Everything in there is over the top. They just opened a freaking Victoria's Secret inside the stadium. Think beer/food is expensive at an NHL game? Go to a Cowboys game spend $30 on parking and then $12-$15 for a draft beer. People gladly pay for this crap even though the Cowboys have won ONE playoff game in 16 years.

There are a bunch of sites where you can look at concept jerseys, download blank templates (for photoshop) and upload stuff you've made. www.icethetics.info/concepts/ seems to be a pretty popular one.

I like everything about those except for the logo on the third jersey. Using two different shades of green would be especially nice and the gold numbers really stand out.

I don't care for the Dallas design at all, I'm in the camp that wants to see them go back to the 90s style jerseys.

For those who care, we have a Jersey discussion thread going on in the Stars forum as well.

http://hfboards.hockeysfuture.com/sh...807706&page=31

Most of us are going to be very disappointed if they don't go back to the green. We'll probably find out soon what they've decided to with within the few months.

Here's a few concepts some HF Dallas posters have come up with:

If they decide to add Blue/Silver:

Good luck to the Stars if they try to show up in Minnesota with North Star colors.

They should make their jerseys red white and green, like the Mexican flag.

This times one million, lest anyone be unique. More than half the league is already either red or blue.

Also as far as the Cowboys new Stadium, as a Giants fan, I absolutely love it. Favorite stadium in the league

Cheers. I've always wanted to do some myself but don't want to pay the price for photoshop.

it's not just there. I went to a Steelers game with my sister last year. Parking about half a mile from the stadium in a poorly lit dirt lot was $50. Not sure what beers were, but I'd venture a guess around 8 or 9 bucks.

The templates are jpeg's. You can easily make some in Paint on Microsoft OS. Give it a try.

It's not green though. Fans are generally in agreement that the current jerseys are pretty lame. I know they were trying to go with a classic/classy look but they're just so boring.

The worst thing they could possibly do would be to go to red, white, and blue. We've debated and discussed this on the Stars board since forever but some of us like the idea of going more "green", somewhere between a North Stars and Celtics green as the primary color.

Go one shade lighter on the green and add a bit of yellow trim, and that's a hot jersey.
