Could care less about losing an AHL game, good penalty, stick up for your players
I totally agree, we can't let anybody take runs at our kids let alone an ahl ******. Good penalty, and even if we lose it helps us in the future for both team moral/bonding and a message to let teams know that we won't put up with that ****!
Good job by Byers getting in a few shots on Bagnall after Bagnall threw a late hit on Schultz. I don't care about Byers taking 4 minutes in a 1-1 game.
It's still early in the season, it's important to send message to other team that they can't touch our young star players.
Without looking it up, I always thought it was an opportunity for radio stations to promo themselves if they were picking up the audio stream of the Barons game.
Like if multiple different radio stations broadcasted the Oilers radio network feed of games.

Isn't it possible that this is in response to OKC taking out two of Houston's young star players earlier in the season? Basically Houston saying it isn't okay for other teams to touch their young stars...
Great play by RNH there, my internet access has sucked tonight so I haven't seen a lot of the game but what I have RNH has been the best of the big 3 up front tonight.

Pet Peave Alert.
I don't think i'm alone in this.... The term "our kids" just doesn't sound right.

You mean Granlund's freak accident and Brodin putting himself in a bad spot? That'd be pretty silly.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that no message was sent at all. Bagnall took a couple weak jabs in the back of the head and then we're shorthanded for 4 mins. There was no point in doing that at all-- respond with a clean hit.

And we won't take it. So? It also wasn't from some goon running people.

Schultz wasn't the guy that took the Houston players as far as i remember.
Bagnall took a late run at Schultz, and they have been very physical with Eberle and RNH all night. RNH also took a big hit to get a shot off on goal hitting the goal post.
It's probably going to be the tactic from most teams from now on for most teams when they play the Barons.

maybe ur on the right track there..but i will.keep asking each time they do it until i get a clear answer

Bagnall's done a great job of setting the physical tone and the Barons haven't done nearly enough this game. I think I heard that this is the 4th meeting of 12 (?!) between these teams.
For a team that has stated that setting a physical dominating tone against a team they see so much is important, they've lost that battle tonight.
