I'd charge them 10 dollars, with the proceeds going to Canuck Place if we were to do that.

So...I talked to some of you last time about setting something up in the winter. After that things took a turn for the worse for me financially so I can't set that up now, to my disappointment. I'd still be able to scrape up some change and play if someone else organized it though, but I couldn't do a Saturday again.

Looks like the earliest HF Vancouver Shinny I can make is probably like game 7 or 8.

I'll probably be back down in July 2013.
I could organize one then if you haven't got one together by that time.

My military services in Taiwan end 2013 Nov. Might come back to Vancouver for a bit then - can consider organizing a game if I'm up for it then

Well, I'm usually up for anything so if anyone wants to step forward, I'd pay up.

If anyone wants to play for cheap, I can rent the ice in bellingham sometime for about $120/hr I believe.
Sadly, I took a cheap shot from someone last week, and am out of action for close to a month. Crap.
Advantages:
Drinking is a lot cheaper
Ice is a lot cheaper
Disdvantages:
Its an hours drive, more if you live on the North Shore. If you live in Surrey and have a Nexus card its like 25 minutes .....

If we could do it on some Sunday around Spring break, I'd bring a few buddies and make my way down. I'd have to make a day of it though as I don't have a Nexus pass and haven't crossed the border myself before.
And I realized I'm 19 and not 21. Damn these drinking laws!

I could do a weekend in February, other than the 8-11th as I'll be back in Prince George. Most of January I'll be in Palm Springs haha

Do you need a passport to cross the border now? I seem to recall hearing that and - like the lazy bum I am - I have allowed mine to expire.

you either need Nexus, a passport or an enhanced drivers licence.

If anyone else was up for it, I'd totally make the 7 hour pilgrimage there for it.
And thanks for that, bill - I've got the driver's license part. If you guys ever set one up when I'm down visitng the lower mainland, I'd be up for making that trip.
Long and short - I'm up for hockey virtually anywhere.

Prince George is definitely a 9-hour drive from my house.
Ain't no college student got time or money for that.

There's a chance I'm down in April; if that's the case, I'd be happy to organize one.
If not then, I'd be down in July.

It would take a whole hell of a lot to keep me from not attending one of these.

Bump!
Never too early to stat planning, right?
The family and I will be down in Vancouver for about three weeks in July. Guessing from the 10th until about the end of the month.
8 Rinks hasn't posted its availablility yet, but I would be shooting to rent ice on either the 20th or the 27th.
So...who would be up for it?
For goalies - right of first refusal goes to Hank4Hart and mossey3535 as they were our tendies last time.
