missing two best players. still beat team full of #1 overalls with defense that's every bit as horribad. worse, actually, considering they have Schultz

edit: do Eddy fans have an explanation for this? the whole inexperience thing was very valid when they were on the oilers but this is altogether different.

Got the W! Zucker player of the game quite easily for me, great wheels and decision making all night, complete game for him. Also liked Cuma's play tonight, nothing flashy but solid defensively and some good outlet passes. The Hall-RNH-Eberle line was really held to the perimeter well all night, good team defensive effort.

Exciting game, both sides lost a lot of chances. Schultz is indeed amazing... Coyle played really well.

Whats more funny is that it is basically their NHL team.

I know it is horrible
Schultz -is solid offensively and looks great sometimes in the dzone and then other times looks horrible he hopefully will get better as time goes on.
Marincin- Growing pains one game is solid and then the next is the worst player out there sometimes.
Plante- A snail can beat him in a race. He has been brutal this year.
Tuebert- Has been our best denfensive dmen this season but sometimes he does not like to show up.
Henry- BRUTAL
Ringwald- Even more BRUTAL

It just basically comes down to that our defense is nothing special. I think out of the d-core Schultz and Marincin will be the only ones with long careers and tuebert with a short career is my guess.

Who will Schultz be paired with on the Oilers to start? God i wish he'd have chosen the wild. but then with a maxed out rookie contract we wouldn't have landed the Parise/Suter deal...
