The odd thing is that O'Neill does that kind of **** for a reaction. He knows McIlroy has won 2 majors. He's a nut about golf. He just really gets off on pretending to not know things and "tricking" his followers into responding to him with the correct answer. Go back and look through his posting history. He's ..... awkward. That one just blew up in his face.

I agree though, the guy is making himself look more stupid by the minute. I knew he was immature when he was here, when he was 25, but it seems like time hasn't helped him at all.

Yeah that's probably his worst attempt at it. Part of me thinks he's doing it just to be a ******, but some of it makes me think it's using bad sarcasm as a tool for backing people up at times. Thing about the internet though is that that doesn't always (or even often) work.

As bad as that one was, it got even worse when a random stranger corrected him and he responded with something that I can't even repost here.

Must be a swell guy at parties.

I forget exactly what it was, but some Canadian fan was chirping him about something and he was like "talk to me when your team's won a Cup." Might've been like the Oilers or something, I almost lost it that was so funny.

But overall, I agree. O'Neill's a tool.

He might be an immature tool, but that playoff game against Toronto where he had the black eye and scored the OT winner was one of the coolest, legendary moments in franchise history.

Good times that was.

My favorite one so far was after the Kings won the Cup.

He said something like "Congrats to my former teammate Justin Williams for being the first player to win a Cup on two different teams". Of course, plenty of people corrected him and he responded with a simple "Nu-uh" or "I'm pretty sure I'm right".

Cracked me up.

Either he likes to troll, or he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer and he uses the trolling and/or "my account was hacked" excuse to try and cover that up.

He likes to troll. One of the comments was something like "Williams isn't the first. Recchi made it three teams when the Bruins won last year", to which O'Neill responded "That never happened".

Some of his tweets definitely come across as trolling. But some others he seems to use the "trolling / account hacked" as a convenient excuse.

Or yet another clever ruse.

Are we done with the review of Jeff O'Neill's Twitter postings yet?

Depends on what else he tweets.

Since the NHL is still locked out and Boychuk is actually doing well in Charlotte, there isn't much else to discuss.

On a serious note, has there been any news on Skinner? At some point, I think it would be good for him to start playing, somewhere.

Skinner isn't playing in Charlotte because of Jared Staal. He knows the second he stepped on the ice for practice Eric's little brother would be all over him like Maple Leaf players on the golf course come April!

More than half the discussions on this board are about nothing. How are you not used to this by now?

In high school on the way to the beach for spring break. I thought it would be great, and boy was I wrong. I pretty much just sat there for 5 hours listening to conversations about makeup and american idol and having the sounds of My fat greek wedding playing on the cars DVD player.

Wouldn't do it again.

Probably the 3rd most annoying car ride I've been on.

Second most annoying was with a bunch of drunk frat guys.

Most annoying was behind a tractor doing 20 in a 55 zone for 13 miles in a no passing zone... with a cop behind me the entire way... with literally nobody else on the road heading the other way.

Wow, no words for that one.

What's wrong with drunk frat guys tho? You have the best ideas in those circumstances. One time in Greenville it led me and some buddies to invent cheeseburger smoothies.
