I am likely to be looking for a goalie this off-season, as well as another top 6 forward. I have some issues on D, but that for the most part is in my bottom pair and can be addressed via free agency. I have a lot of cap space and a lot of free agents this off-season, so it could be an interesting one.

I wonder if the Rangers will be able to resign Hank and Gaborik this offseason?

I hopefully believe Ryan Malone (82) and PA Parenteau (82) have played their last season with the Avs! One or both must go! Open to offers of any kind!

Both are 20 goal scorers and 60+ point getters. Would complement any top 6 to 9 forward crop!

Girardi (EDIT: and Callahan) too.

Couches are being searched throughout the tri-state area, but I think I'll be able to manage.

It's tight though, I'm not going to lie. I'm not loving the Bergfors and Sauer contracts at the moment.

Isn't Callahan a free agent too? Maybe I won't have to trade for a top 6 right hander after all...

Yeah. Him too.

Like I said. Things are getting a bit tight.

I think I will be ok. I don't believe Callahan will ask for a significant raise. Redden is coming off the books. I've got a few depth forwards who I would like to keep, but who might need to be sacrificed.

I mean if Gaborik has to go I'm sure there are teams who will take him "cough" Minnesota!

Detroit doesn't have the pieces. You've got to talk to a team with a deep prospect pool .

Gaborik won't make it to UFA unless he goes crazy.

1. Lundqvist
2. Gaborik
3. Callahan
4. Girardi

If one of them isn't going to get resigned, its Girardi.

(At least that's the plan )

Speaking of prospects.

Can I get a "20" on J. Zucker? He was listed on the last GM's roster, but I can't find him, or figure out what he would have been dealt for.

(I assume that I originally got him for Hagelin?)

a lot of talks regarding Plekanec, might move him for a skilled RW before the start of next season.

I have no idea. I forget the Hagelin trade details but I don't think he was involved I think it was Broadziack and a second, (pretty sure I got the better of that deal). As for Zucker I don't know where he is I am not the original Minnesota Gm he basically blew up the team and left it for me to put back to pieces. I may even still have him.

I'm thinking that the Rangers acquired Zucker from Pheonix for defensive prospect Connor Murphy--and it just never made it into the official list.

That might be hard to track seeing that the Phoenix GM is not the original either.
