WOOF What happened today? Kovy and the boys were blown out 6-1 by Spartak. A team that had the second least amount of wins in the conference coming into today's game. Kovy's plus minus went from +15 down to a +10 so It's safe to assume he was on the ice for almost every goal against.
Kovy needs to have a coach he respects, and I think I wasn't the first to state this. We saw what happened under Maclean, and the difference between Maclean, and Lemaire/Deboer. I think I heard he was the only player in Atlanta sad to see Bob Hartley go too. They even had a love/hate relationship it seemed.
I don`t feel bad for him, I feel bad for the fans. SKA and their famous coaching changes. Screw Gazprom and their money. Stupid management.
Jalonen is not as good as his track record.
Říha is an outstanding coach, say whatever you want about him, but this was the worst move possible, even if this was just a one bad game.

I don't follow it much, but the team was doing damn good under him. Someone posted he got canned cause of last years playoffs. It's worse than when we canned Julien. Pretty sure that was so we could hire Sutter, and couldn't justify firing Julien after having a deep playoff run.

Not surprising, in that case even under Riha, the IK/VT line turned awful since the break, especially Tarasenko being very selfish trying to beat defences by himself.
Tikhonov hasn't played lately due to an injury also.
SKA did the opposite of what we did in 2010-11. They canned the good coach and brought in a potential disaster.
For a second I was dumb, and overlooked when you said opposite. I thought at first ''Wait we fired Lemaire when he left after the 2010 playoffs?'' then I reread, and the 2010-11 part too.
LOL Glen! Can you imagine Maclean coaching Kovalchuk over there? Those two HATED each other at the Tremblay/Roy level. Kovy would be on the train to Donbass faster than Maclean's 65 second post game presser!

It's just a SKA promo video basically of the cheerleader squad. The Horse is th mascot of SKA. Back in the USSR they used to be an army club and they all have the horse for the mascot going back to times when there was still cavalry in the army.

It just a a joke as a reply to a post. It's still true that there are a lot of beatiful women in Russia. Much more than in most countries I've to and that's a long list. There are countries though which could compete with Russia easily in this department, Slovakia for example.
