5-3! Brett Hargrave with his 4th goal of the year.

Davis Brown gets his second career OHL point, hopefully that opens up the floodgates.

End of the second. 5-3 for Sarnia.

Overall, that was much better period from Galchenyuk. He had a handful of chances in tight but couldn't bury them. I really liked his backchecking this period, reminded me of a certain Marian Hossa. He had one great shift, where he intercepted a pass, and then came down the wing and tried this very awkward looking between the legs pass that went to no one because apparently Boucher and Sarault decided to stay at the blue line. He also had a few chances down the wings and then set up Sarault who ringed one of the post (which he did twice this period). He picked up his second point of the night by using his good hands and strength to keep control of the puck. It eventually came to Boucher who buried it to complete the hattrick.

Hopefully Boucher keeps scoring. He gets a ton of chances every game but can't seem to bury them. Also, Sarault has been having a strong game. He's slowly climbing up the OHL scoring race. The downside to this is I doubt Gally will be back at centre any time soon, but at least they are producing extremely well.

Well Sarnia likely knows that Gally won't be back the next year, so it will basically be a rental. A solid 3rd liner with upside (Elie) who can play for 2-3 more years, a good defensive prospect who was a 2nd round pick and a decent (2nd or 3rd) pick would be a very good start IMO

It feels like a kick in the balls when Galchenyuk has under 3 points.

Galchenyuk has to start backchecking hard with more consistency. He was camping out by the red line, Sarnia was completely pinned in there own zone. So he slowly decides to come back into his own zone near the hashmarks and the puck comes out of the zone and he gets a great scoring chance from it.

EDIT: GOALLLL! Alex Galchenyuk! Buries it in tight!

First of all he's still 5 points behind and played 1 more game. Second, he a 20 year old. I don't see the relevance of your post unless it is somehow to discredit Gally or you love to troll.

lol wow, overly sensitive. It was a simple observation that Sarault is playing well, never said he's near the prospect the Gally is. I'm aware of his age and fringy prospect status.

lulz. Sarault been good last few games, but that ain't gonna happen unless he kills it during WJCs.

"That" is right, Gally has to start playing harder defensively. Never gonna happen on a Beaulieu team though. Seems like no one really cares about defense. Pretty EAsports like actually.

I like that #15 kid for Sarnia. Plays hard and smart, pretty skilled too.

Deangelo makes me so mad. I don't know why, but like, I honestly hate that little ****!! LOL hate is strong but ****, keep it simple stupid!

Don't think he's trolling... Sarault *is* catching up and there's nothing offensive about it.

Galchenyuk has now catched up Grigorenko with 44 pts with the same number of games played... in a much better league... on a way weaker team...

Talking about Grigorenko, Im watching the Remps game tonight and he has been pretty quiet all game long.. The one standing out for the Remps is easily Erne, great hockey player, possibly mid first round pick.. If Duclair keeps playing that poorly, he will drop late in the second round or possibly third round, pretty questionnable hockey IQ.. Not impressed with Sorensen either..

Not sure about the questionable hockey IQ - IMO this was never a problem with Duclair. It might be just due to his inactivity.

I think Duclair skating ability will make an NHL team very happy, especially if he fall to the 2nd round.
