Calgary-1
SanJose-1
CBJ-1
NJD-1
Anaheim-1

I've edited the database even more, the Dub will produce a few stars..

New Jersey has a throwback I can use, as do the flames.

To the OP, I'll probably trade Iggy and Kipper immeadiately if I'm doing them.

Iggy and kipper is fine, but you should totally make sure to edit bartshi to be more realistic. He'll turn out good, but this game always makes him a 90+ ovr 100 point per season guy, that's just unrealistic.

So I'm in the third year with my devils 5 year GM and I decided I wanted to make the playoff so I go out and make this trade:

Receive:
G Mikku Kiprusoff 87 overall
2015 4th Round Pick
2015 5th Round Pick

Receive:
D Josh Morrissey 53 overall
G Cedrick Desjardins 71 overall

Morrissey didnt do that jump progression I needed him to plus my future goaltender (Benoit Pouliot 82 Overall 4.5 stars) needs one more year in junior before I give him the starting position.

Realistic Trade?

Lol. Is his name really Benoit? That would be this guy:

In addition to this, you should also edit Roman Cervenka and add him to the Flames roster.

I vote for Calgary as well.
I prefer a 2 season change over though, not tarding everyone over 30 in a 2 week period... Just not realistic. Other GM's would see this and not agree to your trades IRL. Plus, Flames fans are pretty loyal, but you still have to win a few games.

I edited Etem, he's gonna kill.

I'm going to start a new Be a GM with the Blues tonight. Are there any players in the Blues organization that you guys suggest I edit?

Won the Cup with the sens in year 3, signing Kessel, Lehner jumping to 90 and Anaheim pretty much giving me Ryan for free helped alot.

My roster is too sick now, my lineup for next year will look something like this:

Benn(88)-Spezza(87)-Kessel(87)
Silfverberg(84)-Turris(87)-Zibanejad(85)
Stone(78)-Smith(82)-Ryan(85)
Hoffman(79)-Grant(78)-Condra(78)

Hedman(87)-Karlsson(88)
Claesson(83)-Ceci(82)
Boroweiki(84)-Tinordi(81)

Lehner(90)
Dansk(78)

Traded Blum(83) and Cowen(84) for Hedman(87) in the off season, will probably trade Ryan cause playing him on the 3rd line is stupid.

Drafted Mackinnon, Shinkurak and Reinhart, also have Puempel and Noesen in the system(4stars, 72overalls) and Galchenyuk(69 overall/ 4 and 1/2 stars)

My team is set for life.

So I just started my Blues Be a GM. Here's how I started it off:

- Traded a 2013 2nd round pick and Andrew Murray for Kyle Wellwood, a 2013 3rd round pick, and a 2013 4th round pick.

2012-13 Lineup

Perron (84) - Berglund (82) - Oshie (84)
Steen (83) - Backes (84) - Stewart (81)
McDonald (81) - Wellwood (77) - D'Agostini (79)
Sobotka (77) - Nichol (71) - Langenbrunner (79)

Shattenkirk (84) - Pietrangelo (87)
Jackman (83) - Polak (79)
Russel (78) - Woywitka (76)

Halak (85)
Elliott (80)

Top Prospects:

LW Jaden Schwartz (65 overall, 20 years old, 4 yellow stars)
RW Ty Rattie (61 overall, 19 years old, 4 yellow stars)
D Ian Cole (76 overall, 23 years old, 4 yellow stars)

Regular Season Report

Deadline Trades:

Received Luca Sbisa from Anaheim in exchange for David Shields and a 2013 1st round pick

Received Martin St Louis from Tampa Bay in exchange for Cody Beach, Yannick Veilleux, and Tyler Seaman (lol)

We finished 48-25-9, 3rd in the NHL and 2nd in the West. It looks like Shattenkirk will in the Norris with 55 points and a +19 rating. It also looks like Halak will win the Vezina. He led the league in wins, GAA, and save percentage.

We'll be playing the seventh-seeded Flames in round one. Here's our lineup for the playoffs:

Oshie (84) - Backes (84) - St Louis (87)
Perron (84) - Berglund (82) - Steen (83)
McDonald (81) - Wellwood (77) - Stewart (81)
Langenbrunner (79) - Nichol (71) - D'Agostini (79)

Shattenkirk (84) - Pietrangelo (87)
Jackman (83) - Sbisa (84)
Russell (78) - Polak (79)

Halak (85)
Elliott (80)

Has a bad year 1 with the avs but then drafted Morrisey and in FA signed Corey Perry and Michael Del Zotto.

I probably could look this up but, what is the Dub? The term isn't ringing any bells at the minute.

Blues Upset By Flames in Round One

St Louis forward Patrick Berglund watches as Flames netminder Mikka Kiprusoff makes a big save in game four.

The St Louis Blues were heavily favored heading into the 2013 NHL playoffs after picking up Martin St. Louis and Luca Sbisa at the trade deadline. However, the Calgary Flames burst out of nowhere and defeated the Blues in five games. The Blues dominated for the most part, but Mikka Kiprusoff stood on his head. It was a huge disappointment, and the Blues will have much higher expectations going into next season. Blues 2013 offseason report coming up next.

Game 1: 2-1 Loss
Game 2: 2-1 OT Loss

Game 3: 3-2 OT Win
Game 4: 3-1 Loss
Game 5: 1-0 Loss

Is it just me, or does your team ALWAYS lose OT games in the Playoffs (simulation)? I've lost like a million in a row.

Live in the valley, go to Heat games, can't afford Canucks tix.
Moved from Calgary 3 years ago (when the Heat started), so I am one of the few that don't have a hate on for the Heat for being the Flames farm team.
Great hockey for junior prices!

I would say that I lose about 85% of OT playoff games in the simulation. This year, in the simulation, I've lost all of the games that have gone to double-overtime. I have never won a game in 2OT using the simulation. The CPU always scores in the first five minutes.

COLUMBUS, ANAHEIM BATTLE FOR 29TH PLACE TONIGHT
November 14, 2012

To say things have not gone well in Anaheim (2-12-2) is a bit of an understatement. With just 2 wins through their first 14 games including the fewest goals for at 1.93 per game and most goals allowed at 4.21 per game, the Ducks are looking like they're a lock for a lottery pick this season. Jonas Hiller and Jeff Deslauriers have both been putrid; the former posting a 3.58 GAA and 89.5 SV% thus far while the latter has posted even less impressive numbers with a 4.64 GAA and 86.5 SV%.

Outside of Ryan Getzlaf and Bobby Ryan, the Ducks have had much difficulty scoring. Former Maurice Richard winner Corey Perry has yet to find the back of the net while the 42-year-old Finnish Flash has just 4 points through 14 games.

Meanwhile in Columbus (4-8-0), the goaltending has been solid, but the team has lacked scoring punch, losing many 1-goal games as a result. Steve Mason has posted solid numbers so far boasting an impressive 92.2 SV%, although his GAA is a little on the high side at 2.64 due to Columbus allowing an average of 32.2 shots per game so far (compared to 28.8 shots for). Mason, along with long-time Blue Jacket R.J. Umberger and rookie Captain Ryan Murray, comprise the few bright spots at this point in the season. Umberger has scored 7 goals and added 2 helpers in the first 12 games while Ryan Murray, despite not posting spectacular offensive numbers, leads the team by a mile in the plus/minus category at +8 (the next highest is +3).

The two underachieving teams will faceoff at 7 PM tonight in Anaheim likely in front of a less-than-full Honda Center.
