last year Alabama-Huntsville was in it but it's because they were chosen as the host team. Don't think they made it to the Final Four though

meant to say Alabama-Huntsville. Dont know why I said Birmingham.

Alabama-Huntsville finished 2-28-1 last year. They are 1-12-1 this year.

They did host the frozen 4 last year, It was in Tampa.

Nebraska-Omaha upset no. 3 Minnesota at Minnesota 3-2.
Faulkner got the win. The Mavericks have won 7 straight.

I'll give Munny a pass for last night. He's been very solid this season.

Gostisbehere has 4g and 6a in 12 games.

And apparently playing on the same team is Greg Coburn, who also plays D and has 3g and 6a in 12 games. I remember he was invited to camp. I wonder if the Flyers are actually interested in him or if they just invited him cause his brother is a Flyer.

Anyway they are currently number 1 and 2 in D scoring for Union

Greg Coburn is Gostisbehere's regular D partner (last season and this season). He lacks Braydon's size and speed but is a pretty heady two-way defenseman.

Any idea at what level of pro he could top out at?

Hate to try to pigeonhole a player, but I think he could be a decent AHL defenseman. Personally don't see him as an NHL prospect at this point.

I don't think there is any serious interest. The Flyers tend to invite teammates of players we own/or the guys they compete against and have seen when watching our own guys for NCAA invites. Looking at last year's development camp, we invited Trevor van Riemsdyk and Nick Sorkin(UNH guys with a tie back to JVR), Kyle Mountain(Luukko's teammate in Vermont), and Greg Coburn(Gostisbehere's defensive partner).

pretty sure his invite is more based on the fact that he's Braydon's brother...

I would rather invoke the principle of charity and point out that Trevor van Riemsdyk made some waves in his own right at prospect camp. I couldn't say he was there simply because of his affiliation with JVR. I'm pointing this out because I'm not sure how important the family tie is, or who his brother is.

It may also have been to see how Ghost would play with his "natural" linemate -- and also get a look at Greg at the same time. 2 for 1 may have been better than a 1 for 1 with another player.

Yup, got the start today, had 6 saves on 9 shots in the first period, and was then pulled for Wedgewood, who also let in three on 22 shots.

edit: Oh, and not to forget, Noebels had a hat-trick, plus an assist, and was voted first star of the game

On the Ghost note, union tied 4-4, Ghost with a goal and 2 assists.

Everyone who has watched him has said how dominate he has looked this season.

If he's that dominate, I'd hate for him to go back to school for another year and possibly stagnate. I know others said he's an engineering major, but he needs to challenge himself if he's that good.

His skill and smarts are. He's too skinny though. Needs to put on muscle and weight

Coach wasn't thrilled with the effort from Niko, sounds like Wedge goes again tomorrow.

Nice to see Noebels to get off the schnide, he came out like a bat outta hell to start the season, and hit a major lull all throughout November.

Tyler Hostetter also had 3 assists. He's been in and out of the lineup with consistency issues/overloaded defensive depth chart. This may change that.

And do both while not losing anything.

He is around 5'11 160 lbs when drafted.

He needs about 15-20 lbs.
