Looks like the "Arizona Coyotes" moniker is set in stone if they team actually gets bought by Jamison and the NHL actually resumes play.
I know most of you will hate it, and that my taste of incredibly sterile, plain, and vanilla is not popular around here, but regardless of that, here's a concept I made by destroying some poor guy's hard work (apologies in advance):
I like it. I am a huge fan of simple jerseys. Cant stand all the piping, jagged line, 4 different colored jerseys a lot of teams have these days. With that said, i love our current ones.

I admit to being one of the biggest critics of your blander than bland design tastes but that's actually not too bad. I'd hope for something with a little more moxy but that's a decent start.
More southweastern and more Arizona in the jerseys. We need to have the jerseys reflect a great sense of pride here just like how there is a sense of pride in some of the jerseys from the teams up north.
I actually really like the current jerseys, would the change just come because we have new ownership, etc.?
I think so. Due in large part for more revenue for the owner with new gear and what not. Would need to change things to incorporate Arizona. Would be nice to have one that had a little of everywhere on it.
Whatever we do, I want more than 2 colors on our primary uniforms. Ours right now bore me to death.
I totally agree with this, I hope they make the crescent moon purple again or even black so it looks like the desert moon at night. The red looks out of place with the crescent moon

If we get new local ownership they could take the ice in pink tutu's for all I care.
Neither here nor there, but I always wanted our thirds to look something like this (this was before the Gretzky logo change). I added some red piping, b/c I'm assuming they aren't going to change the colours. Also, I'm terrible at this (and lazy) so I didn't put the moon logo on the shoulders or add numbers. But you get the gist.
Longtime lurker, odd that this would be the thread that I speak up on, but I can't believe no one, especially the COG, has suggested (or insisted) that 'Glendale' is used somewhere on the uni's. Maybe in small script above the 'AZ' on the state flag patch. Somewhere. That would be stipulated in the management agreement if I were in charge.

Glendale's flag actually already fits the color scheme

I think it was just understood that if they weren't Phoenix, they would be AZ because major teams are either associated with the nearest major city or the state.
Here are all the teams in the major 4 with state names or city names differing from their location.
Florida Panthers - Sunrise, FL
New Jersey Devils - Newark, NJ
Carolina Hurricanes - Raleigh, NC
Colorado Avalanche - Denver, CO
Minnesota Wild - St Paul, MN
Tampa Bay Rays - St Petersburg, FL
Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim - Anaheim, CA
Texas Rangers - Arlington, TX
Minnesota Twins - Minneapolis, MN
Arizona Diamondbacks - Phoenix, AZ
Colorado Rockies - Denver, CO
Detroit Pistons - Auburn Hills, MI
Indiana Pacers - Indianapolis, IN
Minnesota Timberwolves - Minneapolis, MN
Utah Jazz - Salt Lake City, UT
Golden State Warriors - Oakland, CA
Buffalo Bills - Orchard Park, NY
New England Patriots - Foxborough, MA
New York Jets - East Rutherford, NJ
Tennessee Titans - Nashville, TN
Dallas Cowboys - Arlington, TX
New York Giants - East Rutherford, NJ
Washington Redskins - Landover, MD
Minnesota Vikings - Minneapolis, MN
Carolina Panthers - Charlotte, NC
Arizona Cardinals - Glendale, AZ
In all honesty, I thought when the team moved to Glendale, they were going to change the name. Then with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim name debacle in '05, I expected Glendale to want the same thing, but nothing happened then either.
I'd be happiest if we got rid of the Cardinal's colors. I see Cardinal red and I see a losing tradition/organization. I'd rather we went with something closer to the old colors or the scheme the Rattlers use.

That one is awesome. I would love something like that as a third.

Problem with red is it is such a good color to base merchandising off. Look at what the Dbacks did, they changed from purple to red because purple in my opinion sucks, and I wouldn't find myself buying a purple jersey, red matches better with clothes. I am pretty sure the Dbacks did a study as to what colors sell the best, and that's why so many teams have red, because it sells better.

You got a point. They put green or purple in the uniform count me out. Barney wears those colors, not me.
