But the people older than me would school me with either solid fundamentals or just wouldn't miss their shots, even with a hand in their face. The one good thing about playing against people like that is you learn to play smarter as you start getting older.

Spurs got fined $250,000 for sitting out 4 of their starters in their 4th game in the last 5 days. LOL NBA.

If only the Spurs had pulled out the win. Would have been great to see if Stern had the set to still fine them after sending their best players home and still winning.

David Stern is terrible. After Miami had 4 days off?

Yeah, on top of it all. I think the coach sat them out just because the league scheduled that crap. Seems like the league wanted the Heat to beat the Spurs on a nationally televised game so they had San Antonio play 4 in 5 days and tire out the players against a fresh Miami team.

They should all get doctors notes saying they had cold/food poisoning to piss Stern off

Soccer, arguably. But yeah, basketball wins that one too.
Maybe in Europe, but here no. I can't even get pick up soccer games organized as a 22 year old, never mind in my 30s.

The Spurs fine is a joke. Popovich was pissed at the terrible scheduling done by the league so he sat his players on national TV. Then they get fined for disrespecting the fans. Right Mr. Commish, because locking the players out last year wasn't disrespectful.

nets got the thunder tonight. No lopez on evans though. Gonna be hard to beat them without that front court. Blatche, humphries and wallace are gonna have to step up. Should be well rested though unlike the game vs the heat

He would have fined them $500 grand out of spite

Spurs were getting fined on the principle, not the outcome. I disagree with fining them for either reason. Stern is power hungry and does what he wants and he's a terrible commissioner.

60-80% of all NBA players own guns? 40% of NBA players have police records? Better fine one of the classier organizations 250k because their players were tired.

Thunder are shooting 70% in the first half. Not even fair. Really frustrating game to watch.

Thunder get every ticky tack foul and get away with a ton of hacking and even a blatant goal tend. It's a super star driven league.

New Orleans Pelicans?

The NBA will truly be a joke if they go through with it.

Intimidation factor somewhere in between Anaheim Ducks and San Diego Padres

The Bobcats want to become the Charlotte Hornets a la Thrashers becoming Winnipeg Jets, so the New Orleans Hornets are cooperating. But the Pelicans? Really? Can't do anything better?

The New Orleans Hornets should become the New Orleans Jazz and the Utah Jazz should become the Utah Stormin Mormons.

I don't expect the Knicks to keep this up all year. Too many old players and shooting percentages are way too high to sustain over an 82 game season.

A lot of fans have already awarded them the championship despite not winning a playoff series in 12 years.

when I saw that you posted, I predicted exactly what your post is going to say

real Knicks fans are not crowning anything. all the bandwagoners are the ones crowning themselves.

and chances are they won't keep up the hot shooting. but who knows? they have so many guys that can hit the 3 at any given time. especially when Shumpert is back. the thing with this Knicks team is they play D. they are in the top 10 in points allowed per game.

After edging out the Denver Nuggets a few games ago, Jason Kidd had this to say about Carmelo. “Coach wanted to play through Carmelo, but Carmelo was like, ‘No, I want to play through Jason.’"

Knicks will win if Carmelo plays like a teammate
