As far back as the Carbonneau era, the Montreal system seems to have only had coaches who want to play grinders as much as 1st liners.

We had Staubitz-Plekanec-White as a line last year.

Is there a half decent reason that Avtsin isn't playing? They can't score for crying out loud. Lefebvre is pulling some JM crap.

Because he failed to score 2 points in back-to-back games.

Wow, another loss. They can't score, stop the scoring from other team, man bearely able to get out of there own zone.
What is this Sortini joke? It's either he can't play hockey or no one in the room has balls to stands up to him. What I remember from him was that he can be a usefull 4th liner but no they have him has one of the vet for the Dogs.....not good.

Good thing Zack Stortini has been in the lineup. Who knows where this team would be without his ONE fight this season.

Yes, Stortini sucks. But the problem is not just him, it's much bigger than Stortini himself. Well, it seems that he becomes our whipping boy to hide all other problems.

Yes, we all are blaming Stortini for his lack of scoring.

I think we're focusing on Stortini because of what he represents. Lefebvre doesn't seem to be adjusting any tactics, just plays his roster, doesn't notice that Stortini isn't helping anything and expects something to change.

Roll-the-lines is becoming a target of derision for junior coaches, let alone pro coaches.

Well I doubt they are going to play that game again today,Lefebvre should make sure the alarm woke them this morning.Calgary's farm team seems to be pretty good, you can't take that away from them.I think it was a combination of Hamilton's jet lag and Abbotsford's eagerness to take advantage of the situation, they seem well prepared for the Bulldogs rookie laden team.

Avtsin is married?

What's with these Habs prospects getting hitched so young?

Congratulations Alex & Wife,I can't remember her name from the interview I read about them. They met on the flight over from Russia, her parents live in Montreal and she was coming to visit them.Nice to hear that they married and have a child on the way. This will spur Avtsin to new heights of effort to succeed and be able to support his young family. The Bulldogs & Habs will reap the rewards of this young man's efforts for years to come.MMW's
