At least you didn't choose to watch the Gophers play like **** instead of watching the Aeros

The gophs aren't my team in college hockey, so I wouldn't watch anyway. I just need to get a more regular 9-5 job so that I can actually see hockey in the evenings. *sigh*

NJ fan who comes in peace Watched most of Houstons last 2 games vs OKC ( bought AHL package for my hockey fix ) It is amazing that not one of you has mentioned that Fontaine McIntyre and Palmieri just played head to head against IMO the best line in the AHL Eberle RNH and Hall and gave up 1 goal 5 on 5 in two games incredible, that line has been burning up the league the past month. Also Zucker looks great Coyle not so much If the lockout remains this team could make some noise

Holy Smokes not playing another game for a week... some weird scheduling in the AHL.

The games tend to be stuffed into the weekend in the AHL so there will actually be people in the stands. I've been to the occasional Monday or Tuesday game - announced attendance usually around 2000, with probably under 1000 actually there.

Plenty of three in threes, up to 13 a season if your team is named the Houston Aeros. And in the Western conference those ussually involve day-of-game air travel or a six-seven hour bus ride from OKC to Houston.

Just the fun of playing in a league that tries to do everything as cheaply as possible.
