Bloom is the reticule on your rifle. The faster you shoot the larger it becomes decreasing your accuracy. It was necessary to pace your shots in Reach with the DMR, especially the final head shot. The bloom is drastically reduced in 4 and did not exist in 3 or MLG playlists. This would benefit people with a modded controller. With bloom and spamming the trigger it's going to take many more shots to kill the person. You will typically lose the battle.
Bloom is not as much of a factor in 4 and the DMR is way overpowered.

Ugh damn it, just makes me miss Halo 2 so much more. Decent list, I personally feel Headlong should've been on there. And Blood Gulch should be included in every Halo imo.
I so hope there's an anniversary edition of Halo 2 just because of how revolutionary it was, maybe even just a map pack.

All the good maps are remakes anyways. Reflection, Hemorrage, Pinnacle, Asylum, Beaver Creak.

I loved The Pit! So happy when it was added to MLG. I have to say I'm not crazy about any of the Halo 4 maps except the Vahalla remake. The big team maps suck.

And are there only 4 maps on the Swat playlist? They are getting old quick.

I couple nights ago I was playing SWAT and I killed a guy, died, respawned, killed another guy and it counted as a double kill. I thought it was pretty amusing.
If anybody wants I have some high quality remakes of Halo 2, Halo 3 maps in file share. Lockout, Warlock, Guardian, Sanctuary, The Pit and a few others. Had more fun playing these on custom with friends than matchmaking.

THIS is what I miss... I remember even when Halo 3 was years old all of my friends and recent players were in a custom games lobby, it was endless fun...
Duck hunt, Fat kid, the 5 different maze variants that I can't remember the names to, etc...
Duck Hunt was great. Did you guys ever play Tower of Power on Ascension in Halo 2? That was lways my favorite custom game. I also really enjoyed playing Troy on Coagulation. I don't know if that game mode ever became popular, but basically everyone had a brute shot and you'd fire the grenades up in the air like a volley of arrows and then charge the other team with the blade attachment serving as a sword.
Troy was fun. Tower was ok IMHO. I forgot the name of the other game i'd play all the time but basically it was on Coagulation and their were two guys in wraiths and 4 warthogs available. It was called Mouse hunt or something.
The wraiths would try and kill everyone but they couldn't use the Wraith cannon, only their boosts and run people over.
You guys need to check out this Flood map somebody made, Jurassic Park. Two Warthogs are driving across the middle by themselves. You can only get in them to gun. It also features a Raptor Pit with a Mantis that randomly moves. Rooms set up like laboratories and a fricken T-Rex.

Quit playing this game 2 weeks ago but put it in today to get the maps because I got the LE but apparently people with LE are unable to get them even though thats one of the perks of getting the LE is to get all the DLC included.
