He shouldn't of passed that!

Should make it clear:
On a short handed opportunity, Galchenyuk stole the puck but passed the puck off to a teammate who accurately shot at the goalie.
Galchenyuk should use his deadly wrister more often.

Maybe not, but that should've been an easy assist!

I grew up in the west. You could try staying up as well. In the old days
24 black label helped achieve that goal.
Just trying to help.

Ritchie is so good. It's to believe he's only 16, he looks like a man amongst boys out there.

Sarault is having a rough game, the puck flies off his stick randomly and he can't connect a pass.

Sting getting dominated by this bad team. Yikes.

Shawn Wilken ‏@GalchenyukWatch
Galchenyuk on learning French: "I have a few teammates who speak French, I should be okay, but there's a lock-out so I don't have to worry.''

In his mind he's a NHLer...

Galchenyuk scores! Threw the puck out front and it took a deflection into the net.

Maybe Boucher got it.

Galchenyuk gets it, 18th of the year. 4th two goal game this season.

Boucher and Sarault look exhausted tonight. Galchenyuk has been awesome tonight. JP Anderson has kept them in the game, but Galchenyuk has given them the lead. He's been easily the best skater on the ice so far.

Radio guys think it's Gally's. Went in off of a Pete.

Confirmed: 2. SAR A. Galchenyuk, (18) (C. Sarault, A. Basso), 18:00 (PP)

He hasn't had a hatty yet this year, hopefully he can get it.

Awards:
First period;
8 shifts, 7:41 time on ice.

Second period;
7 shifts, 7:23 time on ice.

With the game close right now, look to see Gally hit over 20 minutes tonight. If they score a bunch though, he'll likely see reduced time.

His brother Nick. 2014 draft prospect. Also a big winger.

Nick Ritchie, Brett's younger brother. At this point he's a top prospect for 2014 draft. A big, strong, powerforward, who has incredible hands and skating, especially for his size. He's already 6'02" and 218 lbs, he's going to be a beast.

Damn, you're right. Still, he's going to be a great prospect to work with once he's drafted.

Gally in sole possession of 4th place in OHL scoring, after scoring a goal and adding an assist tonight. 46 points on the season, one behind Ritchie and three behind Griffith.

The OHL website updates their stats right away.

He sits with 18 goals and 29 assists for 47 points.

2 goals and 1 assist on the night.

He is tied for third now. The OHL stats update in almost real-time. I made the same mistake last week as well.

edit: and of course "That" beat me to it
