If we do rebuild I think we might keep Cammy as Captain to lead the young players that would be coming in. But if we were going to trade him we would be looking for some combination of, 1st,Blacker,Kadri,Colbourne.
Even tho we didn't give up a ton for him we won't let him go for as low of a price as we paid for him.

Well he hasn't had a strong season in what? 3 years now? Hasn't been fully healthy in the same amount of time. His value may just be much higher to Calgary than Toronto giving up some of our best pieces for a player who's redundant to our team if he can even MANAGE to serve the purpose he does (score goals). Scoring goals was not our problem. Keeping them OUT was the problem.

Never said it did make sense for the leafs but as it stands he is our #1 center and has great chemistry with Iginla. If we are going to move him it would take a sizable overpayment.

That's why I stated his value is greater to Calgary than to anyone else, especially Toronto.

i'm actually kind of suprised kuliemin is not on your list granted he had a down year but that kid works hard i expect him to rebound and be a 20-25 goal guy just not sure it will be with the Leafs.

I don't dislike him but would prefer higher end talent (Kadri) or a big center that we need (Colbourne) or a defenseman (Blacker). He just isn't a big need on this team.
He's definitely more of a #1 center than Bozak or Grabovski
Not in the last few years. He has been a steady state 50ish pointer with 2 way play not being a strength for him. Grabovski gets back and Bozak is more suited for a 3rd line role but this isn't a pissing match about whether he's better than who we have but rather that he isn't a good fit for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

That's only because of injuries he is a 50 pointer over the last 3 years he is closer to a 60 point player and is over a ppg in the playoffs.
I would EASILY giving up Matt Frattin. No more. I think Frattin will be as good as Cammellarry and he's younger, homegrown, and never played for stinky habs

Lol. Stinky washes off (hint: lather, rinse and repeat), blue and white disease goes all the way to the core.
