This. Anyone who thinks the Devils are pro-lockout is nuts . If you dont go to games your not helping the team at all, your hurting them
Also, Bettman does help small markets out alot. Phoenix would not have a hockey team if he didnt help small markets
The Vanderbeek can't be for the lockout. The lockout is short term thinking, no payroll or hockey related expenses. But the lockout is killing them financially. Vanderbeek will never survive now unless the NHL helps him as an owner. Since Newark lost their legal suit it would be best to see the Rock dark from their point of view.

No offense but your 4 people who aren't showing up to the games is not gonna make a statement.

#CBA Source confirms that NHLPA Executive Board has authorized a stipend of $10,000 to all members, as first reported by @aaronward_nhl
All of us hardcore fans are gonna be so hungry for hockey that we'll go the minute it starts. It's the casual fans it will effect.
Screw that. They're not getting my money this season or next. I can handle just watching games on TV and spending my money on AHL tickets and sub-ECHL tickets instead.
If I have the cash I'll be at the first game back...call me a sucker but I know the Devils brain trust wants to be playing right now so it is what it is.

This right here. I know some people are saying you shouldn't spite yourself to try and make a point but its going to be a looooooooong ass while before ANY nhl related product sees my money.
I won't lie and say that I don't want to go to games. I do. It was something I really enjoyed doing and I do miss it, as much as I have found other ways to keep myself busy. However, I refuse to feed money to a league that has ZERO interest or regard for its largest revenue source - US. If that happens to hurt the Devils, so be it. They happen to be a part of this league and it is what it is. I mean what is it going to take before the voice of the fan is finally heard?
Hockey is and always will be a niche sport in this country and the only thing that keeps it going are the loyal fans who constantly put up with the garbage the league has to offer. Never mind the games lost, my biggest beef with all involved is just how much of a giant **** they took on this sport with this lockout. Through oblivion they charge. As much as I miss hockey and the Devils, the thought of crawling right back to these ****ers is enough to make my stomach turn.
It sucks that there is no hockey. I get it. But the way I see it, what difference does it make? Any professional league that continues to close its ****ing doors every several years, a league that is hellbent on further tarnishing its mediocre image, well how long can something like this continue to be relevant anyway? And honestly, why the hell would you even want to or be proud to support it in the first place?

Hey, why is there a picture of Lundqvist on his mask?

The PA paying it's members not to cave ?
They will never admit it, but it definitely looks like that.
