Etem's line has been very good but I'm not sure who else is on it. I think the 1st line is Palmieri, Holland and DSP. Vatanen has looked the best he has in a while IMO.

Thanks ED. Yeah, that trio seems to have very good chemistry. Seems like they could be on the cusp of having 2 solid scoring lines.

Perfect PK: 9 for 9.

Andersen wasn't really tested, but it's good to see that THOSE goals didn't go in.

It looks like it. They've been our best line since Maroon was added to the line.

I couldn't tell if Wagner came back after he got boarded, but if he didn't, expect a shake up.

Emerson Etem not listed as a star of the game.

That's ridiculous.

Anyway. Good to see them get the win. Hopefully they can keep this rolling. Checking the box score it looks like Palmieri only had one shot on goal tonight. He needs to step up. Meanwhile Holland continues to make a case for an NHL spot next year. Good to see. There were concerns that Holland used to play disinterested hockey before, but I think those days are behind him. Congrats to Etem on the multigoal night.

That's good. Maroon should be a good addition to that line, it gives them some size and he's a pretty good playmaker at the AHL level. Hopefully Palmieri starts picking up his game, it sounds as though he hasn't been that great over the past week.

The only issue with Maroon is that he needs to work on pulling the trigger when those two set him up. He's had that problem in a few games.

Wagner seems to get run from behind every game! He was back with Etem on the last PK of the game. PK was off the charts tonight. All the D and Mac, Pelley, Etem, Wagner, DSP, Bodie.

Good to hear. I'd hate to lose two of our four most promising rookies in one week.

So Etem is not garbage and a bust afterall? 3 goals in the last 3 games is a good start
It also appears Holland is putting to bed alot of question marks with his consistency 19 points in 19 games, the kid has sick talent

Just watched the highlights for this game. Dear lord that set up by Holland on Smith Pelly's goal!

I dare you to find anyone on the entire website who has claimed that Etem is "garbage and a bust"

He looked really good on the PK was a plus3 (AHL site says +2 I watched the game and I cant understand how refs cant get things right at least look at the tapes between periods, Guenin and Guenzel where on the ice for Hersheys 2nd goal but the gave the - to Sami. so he was really a + 3

Good to see Etem coming around! His shot looks good.

I'm loving what I'm seeing out of Holland. I think he's developed nicely over the past year.

And with Bonino looking like Gretzky in the elite high level of Italian 2nd division we are officially STACKED at center.

Really, so you're going to deny most of this forum wasn't ripping into him because of a slow start?

No one was "ripping" him. People were questioning his style of play. You need to remove your head from Etem's jock while posting about him. I don't really understand why you like to come here when Etem does good and say "neener-neener" or "I told you so" or "So Etem isn't a bust?" Do you need some kind of validation that Etem is the player you think he is?

We were saying that he was invisible and ineffective with the puck because he was invisible and ineffective with the puck. I'm sorry that what we saw in those games didn't conform with him having a perfect start. Etem has to prove he belongs in the NHL. He's on his way to doing that. Note that none of this ever meant that we thought he was a bust. I can only speak for myself, but the conclusion that I drew is that this is the sort of thing that you expect from a rookie.

I don't understand how it's possible take comments like "Etem will likely need seasoning in the AHL before we pencil him into the Ducks top 6" and "Etem isn't playing well to start the year but he's a rookie and he still has plenty of time to adjust" to mean that we were saying "Etem is garbage and a bust".
