Surprised Rooney is doing so well at Reading. Didn't think he had it in him.

Wouldn't put it past Reading to score at the end.

Sky Sports studio guys basically agreeing that you can't blame the linesman for not seeing the ball go over the line, indirectly promoting goal line technology.

Seems like a lot of people need to learn that because they chose to follow a club when they were winning does not mean you're entitled to 3 points on the board every week. Will be interesting to see how they adjust to a lack of CL football because it's coming sooner or later. Things change in football, that's just how it is. Times like these are where you find out how much you really care about the club you've chosen to follow.

But throwing out insults at a new manager after a few days on the job and freaking out over him not putting 9 points up may be a new record for being silly. Nearly impossible to hit the ground running in this league. For starters Benitez hasn't had the chance to go through a full week of training nor will he, I wouldn't expect results anytime soon. Right now they are lurching from match to match every few days, not ideal for a new manager. Also not ideal for a manager to have to deal with a squad that has been programmed, re-programmed and de-programmed ad infinitum.

“If we defend like that against Manchester City, I might need to play myself.” - SAF

Our defense is atrocious. No surprise that teams like Reading and Villa are scoring goals with ease against us. City forwards will have a field day if we don't patch things up quick.

Also here's an interesting fact: In 8 appearances this season, Anders Lindegaard has conceded 16 goals. Sure the defense isn't helping, but I don't know why Fergie is so insistent on playing him over DDG. Anders is just not starter quality.

Maybe DDG is building muscle mass during this?

Lindegaard was nervous as **** during set pieces

Im glad Fergie replaced Rafael with Smalling

Rafael was mad lol

Smalling helped a bit during set pieces with his size, despite his last name

They've recently purchased some land so I think they're hoping to have their own training facilities by the beginning of next season.

Saw the Clattenburg decision not to give a penalty to Arsenal for the tackle on Giroud. Fantastic spot.

Guys I think this criticism of wenger is a little unfair by the way. Without him, man city wouldn't be half as good as they are right now.

I think that was a week or two ago already. I haven't experienced it my self but does it really have effects for that long?

Had two taken out a couple of years ago. Your jaw is swollen for about a week, can't have any solid foods. Can't expect him to play football, since if anything happens (ball hits him in the face for example) that could be painful and slightly dangerous. You basically have stitches during that time and need to wait for everything to heal.

What has happened to Sunderland? They seem hopeless offensively...

The fact that John Ruddy is out with injury is the only reason they have scored in this game.

That was kind of a jinx. Sunderland has looked much more dangerous in the second half.
